how much year of experience is good for cat??? do cat takes into consideration the family business or enterpreneurship experience as well ?? i am 2012 btech passout and have no job exp..will it affect my chances of getting into one top college???
@sahil68 Different colleges might have different criteria for work ex but am sure if you have an entrepreneurship experience college would love to have you on board as basically MBA teaches us to be JOB CREATORS and not JOB SEEKERS. If you already have done something on the lines of Job Creation then nothing like it. All the best!!

Has anyone compared the IMS- 500 2010/11 ed. book to the one the offered last year or the one they are giving this year 2012-13 ed.
I mean if it is totally a new book with fresh questions (like OG's of GMAT) we can go for the new one (200 RS).

Nothing specific. The race is same for a fresher as well as someone with heavy work-ex. To some extent, it might depend upon the B-School. Few B-Schools do have heavy weightage for the work-ex. Else, it doesn't matter much.
Family Business or Entrepreneurship Experience depends from B-School to B-School.
Right now, focus on scoring as high as you can in CAT/XAT. All the Best.. 👍

Hello friends, I have completed my CAT 2013 registration and under candidate's name i filled in my name as it appears in my 12th grade marksheet "Gedam Sangharsh N." (Surname, first name, Middle name).
But i've realised while purchasing CAT voucher from AXIS bank i wrote my name as "Sangharsh Gedam" (first name, last name) in the pay-in slip. Will it be a problem????
