Hi, I have two queries regarding CAT 2013 Forms..
1) In the option of "Applying to Non-IIMS' if we mark 'Yes', will they ask for the names of the Colleges or not?
2) For 'The Interview City for Selected IIMS.. if we select our home state, will that affect the calls from IIMs? Or it is better to select the IIMs' state only?

CAT 2012 didn't go well for me, and i havent started preparing for CAT 2013 yet.
i will be joining my company in november this year (TCS), so now i am thinking to write CAT 2013. i wanna ask, is it enough time to crack CAT?? and should i go for it or wait for next year and gain some experience..

How should we submit the graduation percentage in the CAT form? Should it be simply Marks secured/Total marks or should it be the weighted score? Pl help veterans. Fyi..I'm from G.G.S.I.P.U Delhi

Just saw IIM-A's criteria.... Read a lot on this forum about how some puys have heard from IIM-A's students & professors that A will change it's unfair linear process which creates a huge divide b/w a 79.9% guy & a 80.01% guy and how it has realized that it's impossible for certain disciplines to have >80 in graduation. Guess all those people can just shut up now... 😠
IIM-A's criteria has become even stricter than before. Unlike last year, where having 80+ throughout was considered ideal, this year they have taken it a notch higher --> 90-90-80 is the new benchmark for "IDEAL", with NO weightage on Work-ex or Masters or CA etc. I guess people with 80 to 90 in their X & XII and a certain section of non-engineers (who can't even dream of a 70+ score) can kiss IIM-A good-bye.
On the other hand, good news for people having 90+, 90+, 80+ ---> It will be pretty easy now. IIM-A just took this criteria-curse to a whole new level... 😞
