Q] If the eight digit number 5668x25y is divisible by 48, find the least value of x+y..
[Doubt] Here, to check divisibility we should use 16 and 3 cos they are co-primes. But just using that we wont be able to find out b'cos x and y both appear in last 4 digits. But the solution says the number should be divisible by 8,16 and 3. Hows that ??? Why consider 8 too??

Hi guys. I have a 94.6% in Class X CBSE and 88.2% in Class XII CBSE. I have a CGPA 7.02 in B.Tech at NIT,Trichy. My senior says my CGPA will be a problem in me getting admission in in IIMs A,B or C. Is this true? If not,then what percentile in CAT 2013 can get me a call from any these institutes?

Just took AIMTEST 1001401. My first attempt after joining the test series last week (already missed a few tests). Scores: Section 1: Correct-3, Incorrect 10 (a score of minus 1), Section 2- Correct 13, Incorrect 13. (a score of 26). I'm so disheartened. Just started preparing for CAT from 1st July. Already feeling like giving up. I thought I was good in verbals, but screwed up that part too in my first ever mock test. Hopeless. 😟😟😟😟
For 90 percentile score in each section, how many answers need to be correct...any idea.....
Suppose a person has somewhat less percentages in X and XII (between 80-85) and B.tech % is 74 . So how much he needs to score in CAT in order to get calls from IIMs ?
