for all those who are appearing for CAT 2013 . Let me remind you as a CAT aspirant of 2012 myself that the make or break section is the VERBAL section in CAT and you have to extremely careful while dealing with it. Just 4-5 months are left for CAT 2013 and by this time most coaching institutes shut up their classes and focus only on MOCKS whereas they should solve as many doubts as they can of the students . These 2-3 months are the most crucial and one should know how to make the most of it.
I luckily have converted FMS for 2013-2015 MBA FT and since pagalguy has helped me a lot . I would like to extend any help the puys for CAT 2013 might be needing and would want to support them in their preparation in these two three months. Hence I have started an initiative called SATYAKAAM through which I will try to give you guys my bag of tips and tricks to tackle verbal , lr/di sections of CAT 2013. I am preparing for Cat 2013, need advice on a few things.
I completed my BA with economics in 2010 and am working with Godrej since the last 3 years.
Attempted CAT 2012 without preparation and finished with 86 percentile overall (98Verbal 48 Quant).
I'm looking at the top 10 B-schools this year. Havent prepared much this year ad working does not leave enough time for studies hence, planning to quit.
1. How imp is work ex ?
2. What is better PGP or PGPX?
3. Would preparing by quitting make it good?
4. What would be the best way to go ahead from now onwards..?

hello guys.. actually i have completed my BE in 2011 and taking drop for 1 year for preapration of cat and gave cat in 2012 and scored 85.47 percentile,but unable to get some good colleges.Then i decided to do job and then do mba.For that i have done cdac and nnow doing job from last 2 months.Can u please tell me that if i preapre for cat 2013 and after taking work ex of around 14-15 mnths till the starting of mba college,will it better for me??the drop of around 1.5 year between my BE and job will create any problem during placement?plz help me guys!!!

Hello Friends Pls Do help me,,, I hope everyone knows that CAT 2013 can be scheduled any day btw October 16 to November 11. I happened to know that the "Difficulty Level " of the paper would increase as the day increases. For Instance , If i schedule my exam around October 22,It would be easy ,around end of October it d be moderate,In November It d be tougher , ...Is it really like that OR its a bloody rumor ???? Nonetheless Normalization would be there but I dun wanna talk abt this,,,I would b pleased if i get a logical n pragmatic answer,,there is oly one D-Day for my entire year preparation...
