hi guys..need advice...i scored 74 percentile in cat2012 and 51%tile in SNAP gt call frm Symbiosis inst of mangmt studies,pune (defence category) cudnt convert. i hv BIMM pune option. but i am realizing its nt worth it. i am btech biotech(worst decision) 2012 passed out. last yr i took regular classes in CL cp..it was gud...now i need help..wat to do..shud i join test series of CL..coz according 2 me dey were close to cat2012....or shud i join weekend classes ...
1. If you feel that, self study won't be possible due to time constraints or otherwise take up the weekend class and it will keep you focussed as well help you learn afresh.
2. If your basics are clear and only scoring/attempts needs to be worked upon. Then join a test series bu June. Till then study on your own and brush up.
3. Try to give some mocks and see where you stand.. You should target a better score and not just 90 %le
4. Self study is always accompanied by lack of interest or motivation. IMO - you should think about "why you want to do an MBA.?" Reasons maybe - sitting idle at home/not happy with job/Need better growth/Simply the urge to be on the management. Answering these would definitely help you focus better.
@anurag610 Hii I got 75 percentile in CAT 2012 without any preparation.Now I am planning to give CAT 2013. I am doing job and could manage to study 3hrs daily. Do u think I could crack CAT 2013 if I start preparing now...
@Logrhythm Yes, actually for missed mock cats, you wont be getting the approx %le as well. Only the sectional analysis will be given & performance charts of the entire group. per which, one can grade his/her score & performance. @amit468
