isnt there any provision to deposit the fee by online transaction? i mean we have to deposit fee by 22nd may, and tomorrow is 19th, if we pay by DD as asked by AO, there are chances that it get delayed. so guide me. @IIM-Udaipur

Also, it is required to send the DD by 22nd May. But there is a high probability that the DD might be delayed.

Do we just reply to the confirmation email to accept the offer for IIMU or is there any specific email address for the email to be sent?

Dear Aspirants,
If you are looking for the reasons - why should you join IIMU ? What are positives of the institute, this post is for you... I would say it really needs patience to read the big list i am going to post here. Though i am not explaining about placements in details, if anybody wants to know about companies and profiles, you may get in touch with Vijay Kumar, Swapnil Ujjwal and Shobhika Mathur on FB group.
You may want to join IIMU for following reasons:
1) Director Sir : Has regular conversation and short meetings with students. His vision is to make IIMU one of best B-School for studies, research and entrepreneurship. He believes that placement is by-product of good education. His focus is on high quality education. We are one of top institutes when it comes to High quality education and We are doing well in placements too. We have big names coming to the institute, the companies which haven't started recruiting from other new IIMs.
2) Faculties: We have one of best faculties in India. Even all IIMA/B students don't get chance to study from them. They have bidding process - only toppers get to attend their courses. Prof. Sunil Handa, Prof. L S Murthy, Prof. Ramesh Bhat, Prof. Sunil Unny Guptan, Prof. Jagdeep S. Chhokar , Prof. S Krishnamurthy, Prof. P C Narayan are few names you would want to google. Soon we will be posting detailed Faculty Profiles for you.
3) Global Exposure: IIMU ensures 50-60% students to get Global exposure through following programs: a) International Business Practices (IBP): Total 48 seats - 24 for Dubai and 24 for Thailand b) Student Exchange Program (STEP) : We had around 14 seats this year c) Global Business Projects : Around 3 to 4 students get a chance to work with Students of University of North Carolina on Consultancy Projects d) International Placements and Summer Internships
4) Live Projects: Live projects through Consult-U.
5) Entrepreneurship : We have E-Cell which conducts regular sessions with faculties where You can discuss about your business plans and entrepreneurship dreams. Also IIMU gives 2 years of paid placement holiday in which you can implement your business ideas and also get 20k per month stipend for your personal expenses. If idea fails you can come back even after 2 years and sit for placements.
6) Mentorship Program: Alumni of Old IIMs (having at least 5 years of industry experience) are assigned as mentors to IIMU students. They help you in your day to day queries like profile building,Industry trends, Certifications and resume.
7) Learning/Exposure/Freedom :We have freedom to implement our ideas, be it entrepreneurship dream, or a small student run mart or canteen set-up in hostels, or any college event. All events at IIMU are student driven and we are the one among 6 IIMs with highest number of clubs and committees. We don't have entry time and are free to visit acad block as well as other hostels at any time.
8) Transparency: It's one of core values of IIMU. We follow IPRS system in which we can't include International packages in our average and also we can't include those companies which shows interest but didn't recruit students. We are the only one among 6 which send emails with exact waitist number and always made waitlist movement public on our website. 9) Open Door Policy : All faculties as well as administration staff follows open door policy. It means they are easily approachable and you can enter their office any time in any kind of need. Our faculty including director sir have lunch with the students in same mess and we feel good having short talks with them on lunch table.
10) Facilities: Ours is temporary campus right now but we never felt that we are staying in temp one. We have all infrastructural facilities which includes Bloomberg Lab (only few B Schools in India has), Library, Hostels, Night Canteen, Play ground, Gym (in acad block as well as hostels), High Tech Classrooms and conference rooms, Meditation room, Hostel common Rooms, and indoor and outdoor games.
