how is the profile based calls made...do we need to mention job description and other details in form ?? Just want to know the procedure as i am filling it for first time .

I have a BE score b/n 70 and 75. 12 th above 85 and 10th above 90. I have presented social welfare projects at national level and am a motivational speaker and have gave many speeches in colleges nearby my locality. I have around 2.5 years work exp but in two different fields.. Whats my chance of getting a profile based call.. Please help..

Does the choice of Specializations really matter in getting a call or a convert ?
For example, I have a work ex of 3.5 years in Telecom (Operations and Network Planning). Can the choice of certain Specializations increase / decrease my chances of getting a call ?

Hi,


1. I wanted to inquire in the work ex section till what date do we have to mention the work ex?
2. While entering graduation marks it is asking for marks or cgpa for each semester. We are provided with sgpa and cgpa where sgpa is for a particular semester and cgpa is for the cumulative of all semesters happened before. So in the section should i put my cgpa or sgpa, can you please tell?

I know that SP Jain accepts GMAT score. So shall I give SP Jain's name in the list at the time of giving GMAT so that scores are sent automatically or SP jain doesn't require? (So that I can give name of some other college and save some money!)

If someone completes 5 years of work ex by Dec 2013, will he /she be considered for the 2 yrs PGDM course? Or work ex more than 5 yrs is not accepted for PGDM..

i secured 88.5% in both 10th and 12th and secured 66.8% in my graduation. are there any chances of getting a call frm sp jain for me if i perform well in my cat exam. is having wrk experience mandatory for admission??

Is my profile fit enough to get a IM call from SP JAIN...??Plz suggest

Hi,

Are IT/Operations students allowed to take Finance/Marketing optional too? Or the subjects are predetermined from before as per the specialization taken?

During placements are banks, financial institutes open to take students from either branches, or only specific specialization students are allowed?

How much time it takes for SP Jain Staff to reply to a mail? I made a transaction on Monday and it was successfull but transaction id was not generated and so i am not to submit the form.. I gave them the details in mail yesterday. Still no reply from there. What shd i do? Shd i wait or make another transaction? Thanks..

1) Does SPJIMR offer both PGDM and PGPM? what's the basic difference?
2) Any min.no.of years of work ex required to apply for any of these in SPJIMR?
3) what's the last date to apply online for SPJIMR?

Pointers for applicants:
1) There is no min. no of work ex criteria for applying in PGDM. We have a good mix of freshers and work ex people in our current batch.
2) The last date for applying is 18th November, 2013.
3) For people filling in marks in the Academic info section of the form- Kindly fill in with aggregate marks ( Total marks scored/ total marks )
4) For people filling in with CGPA in the Academic section of application form- Kindly fill in with the cumulative grade point till the last or current semester.
5) Choice of Specialization - If a person fails to get calls because of his/her first preference then he/she would be eligible in the free pool for his/her second preference.
6) Shortlist is prepared taking into consideration the overall profile of the candidate along with CAT/XAT/GMAT scores.
7) The qualifying scores for CAT/XAT is 85 %ile and for GMAT is 650.
