NM or IMT? Considering NM will cost 7-8 lakhs more than IMT and placements are more or less similar.

I haven't received any acknowledgment mail or email confirmation after submitting documents. How to check the status and when should I expect to receive these? Also - After clicking on Submit and Print Application any way to verify if it actually got submitted or not?
