My interview date clashes with iim shillong can someone give me nmims email where i can request for changing my interview date.

Can any one tell me the funda with DD of Rs 950 , bank ppl say apostrophe is not possible in DD , but DD has to be drawn in favour of SVKM's NMIMS .


What do i do ? Suggestions please......................

@DinkaChika AFAIK It is possible. Try SBI or other private banks. Apostrophe is quite possible in DD's.

I jus have a small doubt ...I gave banking as second preference and capital markets as third ...will I be able to change it the other way around ????

seems capital markets is more of what Im looking for next to MBA core...

I have my IIM A ABM interview on 16th in Ahmedabad ....the same day is my NMIMS interview(FT-MBA)
I have already confirmed my ABM interview...since I received their letter on 18th jan
please suggest whom to contact
does NMIMS consider such cases and has changed dates in the past ?

Apostrophe is possible. But a dumb bank wallah missed it.. I had called the admissions department and they told that it is fine if the apostrophe is missing...

Hi, I have a few queries:

1. I've applied only for MBA core so do I still need to send two copies of the documents?
2. Does the SOP need to be hand written or can it be typed?
3. DU is known for being highly uncooperative and annoying esp when you need their help, so IF by chance I am not able to procure my last semester marksheet in time to courier it can I give the same at a later date, perhaps when I come for my CD/PI. I have the marksheets of all other sems and the provisional degree certificate as well.


A prompt response will be highly appreciated! Thanks :)

Yes only one SOP stating why NMIMS, it should't contain references to which campus.. ATB!!

IF it is both the campus, make it a common SOP with reference to why NMIMS, Do not mention core, just make it generalized about MBA.. If you make it core centric, they might ask, if you are so much interested in COre only, y did you apply to PGDM...

MAke it printed, looks nicer.. Handwritten is also allowed, but you can make mistakes..

Yes for MBA HR and MBA CORE different SOP's..

Okie, here's the deal..

Seeing so many queries on SOP's m writing a small note.. And leave it to you all for broadcasting it..

Write one SOP for FTMBA, PGDM hyd and PGDM Banglore.. State the purpose for your joining this institute, relate your past, present and future goals with your purpose, and how will this institute help you achieving it..

Second SOP only for MBA HR... Write it relating your past, present and future goals with your purpose of opting for HR.. Ensure you justify why you want HR so badly and Why HR from this institute..

SOP can be handwritten or Typed,... Typed is better as the chances of grammatical mistakes and spelling mistakes are greatly reduced..

SOP ideally should be of 300 words +-50 depending upon case to case..
