@sarthakroz Sir,my CD-PI letter doesn't mention any preferences.It says: "Programs applied for: FT MBA &PGDM;".Few of the puys have mentioned here that they have got preferences.Why is that ??

@van-dam I think you would have applied for bang/hyd campus so this might be the reason.

Others would not have applied for bang/hyd campus and instead just for Mumbai campus and different courses in mumbai campus

guys please concentrate on preparing for gdpi. your preference once selected will not be changed until further communication from nmims. so right now go for improving general knowledge and improving sop.

Some of the questions are being repeated again and again. Thus we have consolidated all such kind of questions here. Also, an official facebook page has been created. This group will be used to communicate information to students. Thus it is highly recommended that you join this group. We request you to add(or inform) all NMIMS GD/PI call getters to this group.

However, we will continue clarifying your doubts at pagalguy as well. Following are the most frequently asked questions:

1. What is the cut-off?
Over all - 209 (QA:72 VA:55 LR:61) for FTMBA

2. What FTMBA and PGDM means?

FTMBA means Full Time MBA and includes MBA Core, MBA-Actuarial Science, MBA-Banking, MBA-Capital Market, MBA-HR, MBA-Pharmaceutical Management

PGDM means Bangalore/Hyderabad Campus

3. Is it possible to reschedule GD/PI dates?

We have no information about it. However, we are trying to reach authorities. We will reply shortly on this.

4. Which all documents need to be attested?

S.S.C. & H.S.C. Mark sheets, Marksheet of graduation (all semester/trimester) & Degree Certificate (Convocation Certificate), Work Experience certificate / Proof of date of joining (e.g. Appointment letter) & Latest Salary Slip, Photo Identity proof

No need to get your SOP, interview letter or score card attested.

5. How many set of documents are required?

You need to carry one set of document for each program.

6. What should be ideal length of SOP? How to write SOPs?

Seniors will guide you on SOP at facebook page. The same will be posted to pagalguy as well.

7. I have scored 208/209/210 marks. Is it possible for me to convert the call.

Absolutely. Prepare well.

8. What is the weightage of GD, PI workex etc?

Nothing has been communicated so far.

9. I have forgot the preference that i filled. What to do?

Yes, he can.

11. I have applied for more than one course. Do I need to write separate SOPs?

Yes.

12. I am not able to download the Interview application. What to do?

@nmims_core - i am sure that i had not applied for PGDM, but had applied for MBA hr, but in my score card it says mentions full time mba and pgdm..is there any way i can get this rectified, since i am really interested in hr

@nmims_core my payslip is a softcopy and no original hardcopy existshow to get it attested, since ot will be just a printout.

It'll be payable to " SVKM's NMIMS". Address is mentioned in the CDPI letter.

dude your draft will include "Pay to the order of" & "Amount to be paid". Thatz it.
Why do you need the branch & bank name ??

I have two questions.

1. What is the word limit for SOP ? And are we supposed to write the SOP or print out will do?
2. We are supposed to send the documents to the address via post right?
