why do we need to give latest salary slip, they want to check our salary?

i left job 6 months back and lost the salary slips..what to do?
i have my experience certi.

@blogger2mba relax dude , I seriously don't think this should act as a spoilsport for you , focus on GDPI , plus I seriously am unsure about logic of such a useless question

P.S Not a senior, but an aspirant only

  • Work Experience certificate / Proof of date of joining & Latest Salary Slip
  • if u have work exp certi then send that one... One of the above two is sufficient..... as most of the aspirants are currently working and don't have the work exp certificates as of now... they suggested to send joining letter and latest salary slip as a temporary proof to show that they are working.
    Some insights

    What is Case Study?
Case Study is that type of Group Discussion which involves caselets dealing with real life predicament in the corporate world. The question which is dealt at the end of the discussion is posed from the point of view of the stakeholders.
You must remember that discussing a case involves a certain methodology wherein the background of the situation is stated along with the objective of the stakeholder; various options are evaluated and then a choice is made with mention of a fallback plan.
    During the Case Study
You will be given a set of information, a situation, a problem and you will be expected to produce the probable solution of the case.
-- If you are given a role which you are supposed to play at the end of the caselet then in such a scenario you should step into that X/Y/Z's shoes, look at the problem from his/her angles, and discuss the case accordingly.
-- If you are to discuss it from a third party point of view, you have to look at it in a more holistic way. In case, the case is not specific in this regard, then you could assume the role of a third- party consultant, look at the case objectively from all angles, and discuss it likewise.
-- You will need to develop and present a framework. Always remember to include SWOT - Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats while discussing the case study. You don't need to stick rigidly to a framework but use it to frame your answer.
    Use of information
-- Experts advise candidates to use as much information provided to them.
-- If you are making an assumption, state it, and then proceed.
-- Analyze information, conclude, act and recommend action.
-- Be logical and clear in your reasoning. But you must not get carried away by others.
-- It is quite possible that your other group members may not logically solve the case in the manner desired. It is recommended that you stick to the structure while analyzing the case to shape your thought processes, as your attempts will definitely stand out and be noticed.
    Written Case Studies
In case you are asked to present the Case Study in a written form, make sure you present it well. With written case studies remember to think about your presentation - use paragraphs and bullet points to make your points clear.
    @van-dam

    I have sent only one.

Has anyone confirmed the receipt of post at NMIMS ?

    Today: PI Tips

A 3 member panel would be greeting you in your PI. It would comprise of

    1. A Faculty of NMIMS
    2. An Alumni of NMIMS
    3. An Industry expert

The interview may last anywhere between 2 minutes to 30 minutes.

    Now, some tips,

1.Dress Smartly. Dress in a subtle yet impressive manner. In my PI, about 2 minutes were devoted to my blue tie and suit.
. Needless to say, First impression is the last impression.

2.Be thorough with current affairs.Read up the last 6 month's current affairs. TIME, CL and other coaching institutes release a GK compendium. Get hold of it.

3.Acads must be given due importance by the freshers. Especially people with engineering background.

4.People with work ex, be ready to answer questions regarding your workplace, company history, current role and responsibilities.

5.It is rarely a stress interview. So relax and give your best.

6.There are some questions like "Tell me about yourself" which must be prepared with due diligence.

7.SOP; it can be a deal clincher. So, give high importance and proofread them for any mistakes. I would help you there too. You may post it on this thread for me to analyse them and give you feedback.

8.Be ready to justify your poor acads, if any.

    9. Research about NMIMS. The PI panel loves when someone shows some passion about an institute. But don't over do it.

    Good Luck !
