Dear all , I understand there is not much clarity about DA job and its comparison to po.
DA profile - Miscellaneous clerical tasks like preparing document drafts, various statistical reports for RO/HO, processing release scrutinies, etc be it any department. There is no public dealing. DA puts up notes to Asst Manager. Growth wise its slower than po. Those who want to settle in a single place for a long time generally prefer this post . As u get promotion u keep getting transfer after every 5 years. Comparatively DA is a low pressure profile . Money wise DA is near to PO salary considering the perks like free quarters and petrol etc. Advantage for DA is you can leave on time at 5.15pm. Officers have to stay back whenever work demands. Skill wise , it is a generalist job which is far away from commercial banking and so you may not gain technical specialization if you have plans to switch to other bank later. Be clear of your priorities when finally decide your expectations from life and career
