I recently got an offer by Mu Sigma for the post of BA. They also are offering me an internship opportunity. Could someone let me know what are the timings generally and stipend for interns?

I recently got placed in Musigma..I also heard some facts that u have to work for 6 days a week and that work timings are very hectic that is from 9 till 9 sometimes even till midninght are these true?

@sails 5 days a week..and if you are in a high priority project, 12 hours shifts would be normal

Let me tell you, once you start working, you'll realize that every job would be demanding all your time and efforts. I've even gone on a stretch without lunch or water to finish work on time. But the point you have to enforce to yourself is - "I have to make time for studying if I want to prepare for CAT '13" .. Ultimately every person feels exhausted after a long day of work.

Need some suggestions from any experienced seniors over here.

1. I am having 2+ years of exp in Data warehousing & working as a developer in a finance project in one of the MNC. I wanted to know whether i can move into BA/Analytics role as i have a lot of interest in Analytics.

2. Does Mu/Sigma or any other other company for that matter provide openings for 2+ years exp for a BA role & will i be eligible for that role as basically im from development though i know BA's role as basically my work area involves a lot of interaction with the BA's as they act as an interface between the clients & the developers in our project.

1. My offer letter says my compensation is gonna be 4.05 for the first year of which 30k is variable and 75k is bonus. So, what's my monthly take home gonna be? can I expect the bonus part to be given intact as 75k? Also, when is it rewarded, at the end of an year?

2. I got the job offer through off-campus in Dec'12. When can I expect my joining? My college is getting over in March. So can I ask the HR via mail to work things for me and give me an early joining in May at the earliest?

@AimIIMAC - Actually it is possible. But you need to return in less than 3 months else you may have to go through MSU again.

@shrikant0218 Hi .....thanks for taking time to answer every1s query regding Mu sigma 😃 I want to know if a person having 2 years work ex in manufacturing sector can get a job in Mu sigma....I am really interested in analytics and want to be a consultant post MBA.....but i dont want to rely on MBA alone to make a career shift....i want to do it NOW.....I am in supply chain management now and Mu Sigma's Supply Chain Analysis verticalnterests me a great deal...

I'm supposed to start work at Mu Sigma as BA from 4th July.. i have a few queries!

1. Is the work-life balance really that bad? 😞
2. I actually reside in bangalore, but very far from the company! So will i have a big transport problem, considering its not safe to use public transport for girls at night?
3. I heard the salary isn't actually 4.05! What is it then and in the 2nd year it'll be 6.25??

can anyone presently working with Musigma, please tell me the approx schedule of what happens in a day?? I will be starting to work in August 1st week and really freaked out from many stories Iv heard..and also it is 6 days a week or 5 days..and can i take a leave for sister's wedding which is to happen within the next 4 months, as i heard that taking leave is also a big problem....Also do they pay us on time??😟

Does Mu Sigma goes to B-Schools like IMT-G, IMI-D, or Great Lakes for MBA grads, and if yes do they give the same profile of MT??
