I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO BELIEVE. THE WEBSITE HAS ALSO BEEN DOWN TILL 9.30 AM TODAY. CAN U PLEASE CHECK UP AGAIN FOR ME.MY CAT NO. IS 7010766 AND COURSE APPLIED FOR IS PGPM. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
Bhai log.. aur un bhai logon ki bhen log.. Seems there are lots of such cases.. Will all due respect to our MDI Seniors 😃 .. why is this happening? I would just like to believe that there is some prob with the way in which the results have been uploaded..
I am particularly affected coz.. I have to file in my papers in office as soon as possible based on this result.. All three sources (Seniors, via phone and Website) say I am IN.. But now, I guess I would have to wait for the results through courier ...the good old method...just to be doubly sure..!!! Technology has proven to be a curse in this case..

Just got some info from the MDI Admissions Office.. I had called them up (ONCE AGAIN !!>??!!) to confirm my admission status.. The person whom I spoke to said, I am thru and that "Letters have been posted yesterday and we shd be recvng them in a day or two.."
If the persons words were anything to go by then the situation of many pple whos status is not clear would be crystal clear..

SORRY SIR.. iTS INCORRECT.. PLS CHECK THE BROUCHURE.. THE TOTAL CASH OUT FLOW as per the MDI Brochure ( for PGPM) is APPX. 5.4 Lakhs. 1.65 Lakh in first year..( tution) and 1.85 lakh in II year. Pls tell me if any down ward revision has taken place.. most banks give 4 lakh loan with out a collateral.. hence for 5.4 lakhs i will hv to dig into my reserves.. ALso what abt Lap top ? is it a norm out there.. or people use PCs ? anyways its better to go for a lap top at 60k rather than PC for 35k

After hours of being down, looks like the MDI site is running again ... when i typed my details on the entrance exam results link, I got a message under the head "Final Results" with my name, cat reg no and mdi app no along with a field daying Fee Status: Not submitted. No message saying you're through or any such comforting lines!
Do I take this as e-confirmation of an admit?! I had called MDI as well as posted here ... and both times I've been told I'm in ...
After hours of being down, looks like the MDI site is running again ... when i typed my details on the entrance exam results link, I got a message under the head "Final Results" with my name, cat reg no and mdi app no along with a field daying Fee Status: Not submitted. No message saying you're through or any such comforting lines!

Hi Madz. .. my friends out here call me " paranoid".. when i cant relax even after 3 confirmations ( phone + prateek + a friend in MDI).. but then.. looks like i m not alone !.. yeh admit hi aisi cheez hai yaar.. more i dont trust softwares any more.. what with all the so called software geeks making a bee line for MBAs.. tick tok tick tok.. the wait continues..

Heh heh ... I guess we'll only relax when we have it written on a crisp sheet of paper with MDI letterhead on it ... But seriously, I can't understand why it's taken so long to get the results online and why the messages can't have a little more of a congratulatory tone!
Anyways, fingers crossed that everything works out fine for all of us!!
Guys... guys chillax!!! i just came back from my class & such a discussion here!!! i posted yesterday itself that there is some problem going on in the website of mdi & do not believe the results which were uploaded yesterday... they were not official & were being tested!!!
I requested the chairman to pulldown the website & thus the results have been removed from there...
I'll update here as soon as the results are out on net officially!!
Till then no speculations please.... but yes those who conformed from office & from us (through PG) can take those results to be 99% correct
