Need a bit of clarification.......does being in merit list assures an admission i.e. wat if say 200 odd out of 360 merit list holders take up admission.....wouldn't the last 80 be in a spot of bother......

N one more thing.....do they hav any ranks in the merit list.

Kindly reply as many of us r wonderin over this long merit list.

Last year first list was of 200 people & then WL was cleared till 50 (if i remember right)
Dunno y the list is longer this time... probably due to higher cutoffs & thus more overlaps with IIMs....

No idea about what will happen if more than 120 people accept the call... although i am pretty sure that those who accept the final offer are sure to get an admission!!!

There are no rankings inside the Merit List (as far as i know)

Prateek, Bingo....thanks guys . u were really a big support and i really look upto u guys. i am happy that i will be going to an insti which has ppl like u. I would seriouly like to continue ur good work....though i m not sure if i can be as dedicated and as good as u were.
