Last year cut off diff. Btwn max &min. 74-55=19...so do we guys really need 70+ to get selectd.NOooo... So who scored less than 40/50 also hav gud chance. No need to get in bizarre by seeing 45-50/50+ 100% attempts ...don't get disappoint with these f**K ing celebrations of more attempts by over hyped cutties... My words may be harsh BT hope it w'l spread some ray of hope to sooo many...-----
Things to get before Interview or Joining Bank. 1. Specialisation Cert from University ( if PGDM, then College) 2. Bona fide Cert 3. Character and Conduct Cert Specialisations eligible- 1 Marketing 2. Marketing and xxxx ( equal) 3. Major- Marketing, Minor- Xxx 4. MBA (pharma or biotech or xxx) with Specialisation in Marketing I am working in Canara as MO.
Do try for SBI PO 2017. Profile of SBI PO is any day better than that of MO. If U love MO work profile, go for it.

Hi Everyone, First of all congratulations to all the selected one. One advise, Please keep your all the documents ready especially the specialization certificate.If your MBA is in core marketing then it is fine as it will be mentioned on the degree certificate but If your mba is dual one, make sure u hv the specialization certificate issued either by college or university. It should br mentioned somewhere that your MBA is in marketing either in degree cerificate/marksheets/specialization certificate. If you are going for specialization certificate from college/univetsity make sure that it must have "specialization/major in marketing" written in it.
They create lots of issues regarding this at the time of interview as well as joining, so do take care on this point.
PS: I am already working as a MO , so have a fair idea what happens at the interviews and at the time of joining.

DONOT think that it is sales job or anything negative, first have a govt job in hand, and prepare for other options if u dont lyk the profile. You will get ample time for the preparation.
I have 2 questions regarding the interview process (Marketing Officer)
1. Allocation : There are 4-5 participating organisations but a single interview. Is it like IBPS conduct the interview and send total score to these banks? If so, how would they do the allocation ? For example, if a candidate clears overall cutoff (out of 100) of 5 banks, will all the 5 banks give posting to the same candidate ? (and let the candidate choose one)
2. Location Preference : Do we stand any chance of asking for our preferred location? In our application, we have only given preference for the banks. Also what are the possible locations for Marketing officers in south india (city names plz)

Hi, My College doesnot provide any specialization certificate. But they said they will only provide a certificate showing the no. of my electives in each domain. In my case I have the most number of subjects in marketing. My degree certificate says MBA only. Is that fine? Kindly reply.

IMO : Cut off will be less than 47 only.
