Hi there, it is not compulsory to stay in hostels, however, students prefer to stay in hostels because of the facility. The accommodation and mess facilities are very good. The campus is ragging-free, drug-free, and tobacco-free. If someone has a problem in connection with the residential facilities room, one can complain. The hostel management looks into the matter and resolves it at the earliest.
The female guards are deployed in the girls’ hostels. There are female security guards who look after the security of the girl’s hostel. The Girls who want to study in the Central library at night are allotted 2 hrs. of time and are accompanied by guards to the library and back from the library to their respective hostels.
Girls are not allowed to roam around the hostel till late at night. No outsiders are allowed. Even the parents have to get a GATE pass to enter the university premises. Strict disciplinary actions are taken against those who indulge in indiscipline. This is the reason why we don’t come across any untoward incidents.
