hey vk,
cutoff essentially means the marks scored above which u r issued the call. hence the question of having of range does not arise.and last year there were abt 20,000 applicants for 130 seats at SIIB. this time arnd we r expecting a 50% increase in applicants. hope this answers ur query.

those were the number of applicants. people called for gd/pi were arnd 1000.

all u people just hold on for some time.it is too early to predict anything just yet.let the dust settle down.as of now we maintain that a score of arnd 75 cud get a gd/pi call frm SIIB.but i wont be surprised if the cutoff inches a bit higher as there are a lot of people scoring in 80s.so wait and watch.

the SIIB list will be out arnd 20 jan. and yess...SIIB does provide placements to industry sponsored candidates too.tc

hey all..gr8 thread tis..neelabh and co r doin a gr8 job..way to go

.As for me, i got a score of 82.5 in snap, gud acads and extra cirricular's, 14 months work ex.From wat i 've read on PG, i guess a call from SIIB is on the cards..AMEN..!!

Can neelabh and co throw some more light on the life@SIIB vis-a-vis the infrastructure, facilities,library , group networks, communities, recreation etcc..cuz i think enuf has been said about the placements and admissions..is SIIB on par with the other B schools as well as SIBM and SCMHRD? is it all about 9-7 classes and books all the while ? Does SIIB conduct sorporate events, industry interface , seminars apart from the regular course work too??I knw i am kinda jumping the gun , but wit neelabh around, i might as well go for it...!!!

P.S:I havent sent any work ex certificate and am not sure if i can send it before 10th..any suggestions 'sir'!!!:tellme:

i wrote snap last year
my score was 75.5
got a call from scmhrd and siib
my siib rank after test was 49
interview was in delhi
pretty sinmple interview..just abt ur life...stgregths..i was interviewd by the lad director...
gd was a cse studies... and then a boring pschlogical test...

after my results .. my over all rank was 6... but didnt choose...because got abetyter option...

hey siis peple wud u plz share ur placement info of this year...

and gusy going for siib...make sure u r confident in ur interview...because the top notch 150 people whom siib calls...most of the converst their call to other institurtes laos... so waitlisted till 350 i thinkget easily converted...

nice name !! we have a separate thread for answering queries abt SNAP score do check there. and info abt placements etc. has been given on previous posts. do check it out.and yess....u shud expect a call frm SIIB at ur score .abt other institues ask at their thread.atb
