On the eve of Teachers’ Day (September 4, 2016) an impresive function was organized by the TenNews.com in partnership with Navaratan Foundation and Galgotia University. The Chief Guest was Mr NP Singh, DM - Gautam Budh Nagar. Dr H. Chaturvedi was the Guest of Honour in the function which was attended by many educationists, artists and young students. The Chief Guest Mr NP Singh in his address explained the role of a teacher in the knowledge society like India. He said that the communicating revolution has made it possible that young students of the current age are very efficient to collect any information through Google or any other source available online, but Google and similar other sources cannot guide the students to find out the right path in their life.
Dr H Chaturvedi in his address on contributing of Dr S Radhakrishnan in Indian education said that if in the whole world Mahatma Gandhi was symbol of moral power, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru was the symbol of political power and Dr Ambedkar was the symbol of Social Justice, then Dr Radhakrishnan has been symbol of India’s intellectual power. As a renowned professor philosophy and an eminent educational administrator he has led many institutions in the country and also abroad. His contributions as the Vice President and President of India will always is remembered for his leadership provided to the national during the difficult times of 60’s Mr Zamil Ahmad, Director, Sarvottam Institute also spoken on contributing of Dr S Radhakrishnan. On this occasion, several educationists from Gautam Budh Nagar were felicitated which included Dr H Chaturvedi, Director, BIMTECH, Mr Vikram Galgotia, CEO, Galgotia University, Ms Rima Dey, Principal Savitribhai Phule Balika Inter College, Mr Rajesh Prasad, Principal, Step by Step School and others. From our institute, Dr Rahul Singh and Dr Rishi Tiwari were also present in this function. Students from different schools presented songs, dances and street plays. Mr Ashok Shrivastav of Nav Ratna Foundation compared the two hours long programme. Mr Gajanan Mali was the Convenor.
