Life @ BIMTECH

#BIMTECH believes in 5 most important virtues - Stretch, Connect, Collaborate, Compete & Win. The BIMTECH paradigm teaches students, not to set store by 'entitlements'. Instead, one should be able to offer ideas & actions in such a way that these should withstand all tests & emerge victorious in every competitive arena.

BIMTECH CAMPUS ZOOMS FROM VOLKSWAGEN VROOM!

Volkswagen's famed F2 & Rally Cars set the campus on fire today. Scores of our students and faculty massed the freeway at campus entrance to watch the dizzying stunts displayed by the ‪#‎Volkswagen‬ Motor Sport Team & JK Tyres. The hair raising display of rally car driving lasted for about 1½ hrs.

‪#‎BIMTECH‬ is the first management institute in NCR selected for the campus Rally Car event by Volkswagen & JK Tyres. Daredevil rally driving of Adwait was viewed with awe every time he did a rally to the thunderous applause of the audience.

As an interlude there was a very interesting quiz administered by the team on Rally Cars and ‪#‎F1‬ racing, where few of our students won prizes given away by the team. Congrats guys for winning the quiz awards!

The Volkswagen team was led by two live wires Mr. Mohit Maldar and Mr. Agnivesh.

Students and faculty experienced the thrill of gravity defying rally ride and‪#‎stunt‬ rides.

The Volkswagen initiative was part of their promotion of motor ‪#‎sports‬ in‪#‎India‬. And it's just great that it has started with BIMTECH.

This will be the first of the events for BIMTECH with the Volkswagen - JK Tyres team.

Another Milestone Achieved: Chittransh Verma selected in Mosafer International, Doha, Qatar at CTC of Whopping INR 26 LPA

The reason why I took admissions in Birla Institute of Management Technology was the brand name, location & course (International Business) which I opted as my only choice and I pursued to devote  to evolve myself as a person.

When I took admission in BIMTECH, I was very clear that I will only go for PGDM-International Business course because of some of the reasons such as international exposure, foreign language and other subjects related to International aspect. And in due course of time I realized my decision was right, this course particularly have all the flavors, it makes you learn all the management aspects plus gives you an edge of International aspect thus a whole new dimension opens up.

From day one of the courseI started taking part in Quiz and other events and got selected as Class representative for my batch. This selection completely changed my learning here; my role was to act as liaison between management and students. As batch of International Business is limited so as time crossed we became family. We together organized many events such as IB-Alumni meet -India, IB-alumni meet-Dubai, Industry Visits, Leadership session, placement Preparedness initiative which was driven by students supported by our department. As part of interest I Joined E-cell (Entrepreneurship Cell) of college and in two years we organized many events and learning was immense, it helps you to develop as a person who has sense of ownership. So I can proudly say that I got the best course, best department and one of the best club of our college.

Our CCR is effective as they bring best companies in college but we being one of the stakeholders of college started supporting CCR through student driven placement initiative and we reached out to various companies and then this placement happened. I had complete support of my management throughout the process.

So for those aspiring managers one thing should be very clear when you join any MBA college start taking responsibilities from day one and try to complete it. Learning is life and this college gives you perfect platform to do so, college gives you a right mix of academics, co-curricular activities. It is an individual who have to decide how he can reap these benefits and bring best within himself.

If you think I can be of any help to you, don't hesitate to connect (Thanks to Social Media).

Wish you all the best in your life.

Alumni Speak

A spring of learning, exposure and opportunities at the prudential foundation.

"In the era of globalization and as part of millennial generation it is very important to have global exposure. This experience at DC provided me with the right platform to be a global citizen in true essence."

This Spring was highly enriching and eventful. I got selected for the highly competitive scholarship by The Prudential Foundation in Washington DC. I was fortunate to be a part of The Prudential Foundation Global Citizens Program. The objective of this program is to select a total of 20 students from universities in Brazil, China, India, Japan, Republic of Korea, and Taiwan. This program is managed by The Washington Center for internships and academic seminars.

As Washington DC has the maximum number of international non- profit organizations in the world, it was an ocean of opportunities for me. I got a chance to intern at the Regional Office (for the Americas) of the World Health Organization. This experience earned me a wonderful opportunity to work with the United Nations system.

This experience has proved to be the beginning of my journey of becoming a working professional from a post graduate student. It has given me an ideal platform to interact with people from all parts of the world and understand the matters of global interest. This has enhanced my learning abilities and has encouraged my inquisitiveness. This experience motivated me to do something extraordinary for the community as well. It got me involved in projects for the benefit of the society. Furthermore, The Prudential Foundation Global Citizens Program provided me the opportunity to develop my leadership skills, study, intern and network.

Furthermore, it helped me to get a global outlook in a vibrant international city. I have made full use of the opportunities of exposing myself to the world's leading think tanks as well as academic researchers, thus broadening my thinking horizons. Through a whole semester's intensive guidance, I learned a great deal. Along with the internship, workshops at the Washington Center have been greatly beneficial and the academic course "Global Markets and International Business" has been both entertaining and enlightening.

The Prudential Foundation Global Citizens Program has been the most logical extension of my academic pursuits and a major step towards achieving my objectives. The most wonderful and unique thing that can only happen if you are part of Prudential scholarship is valuable experiences during our trip to Prudential company's headquarter. It was a pleasure to know insights of CEO and other executives on how to achieve success in life, women at leadership positions, International business, how to use corporate social responsibility as a competitive advantage for the organization. This guided me in understanding the expectation set of industry from young professionals.

Also, studying, learning and interning at Washington DC provided me with an opportunity to understand how DC influences world politics. In the era of globalization and as part of millennial generation it is very important to have global exposure. This experience at DC provided me with the right platform to be a global citizen in true essence.

I fervently believe that all the experiences and learning would guide me to achieve success. Integration of all the knowledge that I gained over past few months would be a major step towards streamlining my career path. It has helped in fostering intellectual partnerships. It has made me a part of international clan of qualified professionals. I surely see this opportunity as a stepping stone in my life. I am truly grateful to BIMTECH, my alma mater for providing me this opportunity.

Incoming Exchange Students @ BIMTECH BIMTECH's student

Exchange program is one of the most vibrant and exciting facets of the student community life, which adds considerable amount of intercontinental flavor to the educational experience. Students from across the world have enjoyed studying on our campus. The exchange students in this trimester (Trimester III) hail from France (NEOMA Business School, Reims & Rouen Campus) and Spain (UAM). Their orientation was held on 28th December to familiarize them with BIMTECH rules and regulations, facilities and to introduce them with concerned departments. Every International student gets a "Buddy", who assists them in adjusting to the new environment.
