Feasible is up to conditions you have in your life at the moment.
If 'desirable' is what your are looking for based on a likely increase in your take home pay then 'yes' as the likely jump in salary should be around 8k rupees.

Yes the jump is not significant and will most likely be used up on these essential necessities.
Also combine that with the fact that your current job, being a teaching job, would most likely be much more tension free. There are sales targets in AAO job as far as I know.

@paras16 He could have faced the law and would have been done with the punishment term till now,it was rather foolishness on his part to make fake ids from andhra pradesh,and nowadays agents are available for that purpose,banks get caught inbetween all this fuss
@Rizz23 i worked in IT Consulting Firm and my Client is well fargo which is one of the largest bank in US, whenever they want to hired someone they perform 10 years background check and verification

Just a quick reply to those looking for formula to convert CGPA to percentage. Most of the universities employ different formula to award marks, and so it is better if you shoot an e-mail to your dean (students welfare) or Controller of Examinations or someone in similar capacity. These guys will be in a better position to answer your question. If you are near campus, take a stroll to his/her office and ask in person, as some colleges and universities are still not that e-mail friendly. 😃
@m4v3r1ck ...if u are saying this in the context of LIC AAO exam form let me remind u dat knowing the conversion formula will nt help ....we have to enter our agg. marks and max marks, ..entering which our percentage will be autocalculated

well i m not that experienced but i will share what info i have gathered tyhorugh seniors and this forum .....excise inspector is a pretty good job inhand salary would be 35k+ ... plus a prestigious and some sort of power types job with huge oppurtunity of flouting Gandhi's and recently Anna's principles ......not that much work pressure 9-6 i guess ..........

Job is gud.......Repect is there......Xtra Income is there......but promotion channel is very slow......u will be eligible for your first promotion after 8 years and generally a person gets a first after completing around 15 years.......Atmost you can take 2 promotions in your entire career.

bro i am in MEA so dint have much idea abt job profile of excise inspector but its certainly a good interview post and if u r getting home state, u must go for it
guys.........., FYI , lic modified the eligibility as bachelor's degree in any discipline from earlier bachelor's degree with 55% .....
I think exam online hai to Es baar descriptive part nahi aayega......
