field job lic ado ki hoti hai.aao is adminstrative as name suggests.

AAO job involves more of administrative work that may include devising new schemes, inspecting policies, managing and finding claims, client interactions, co-ordinating with other departments and providing assistance to AO. Apart from this, you will be given a set target to get the L.I.C.s as well.

pls dont mind me asking but, isnt achieving the set target the same as the field job ( policy marketing) as done by ADOs and DOs?

Two of my childhood friends are in L.I.C. So, I know. Even if you have administrative job - you have to get your hands dirty upto some extent. You can always walk to your nearest L.I.C. office and get this verified. :)

i tried that route.. but unfortunately, they were singing LIC eulogy.

i m reasonably satisfied here. only concern is homesickness coz MEA is a delhi based job...promotions are slow here
Is there any leased house accommodation scheme in LIC AAO as in PO ?
my score was 496 iin CGL 2010. cant say abt CGL 2013 score or vacancies
