i think by mistake, you have quoted yourself;-)
BTW I would say if you want a balance between growth, job security and money..Choose Govt sector else if you want growth and money than job security, pvt sector is there for you;-) :-)

GK Preparation??????

@tacco no buddy other puys r rite... anything around 65% is safe score...my frnd got a call last time with around 60%. but as competition is growing u can never be sure so prepare smart and give ur best
@neha.coool oh! thanks, its just i have a pretty good frndship and relatives netwrk in diverse fields in different positions ..so it helps.... c govt. job is far better in these following cases ,if u starting a career, lower management level position, mid management level position... as money is good if not d best, job security and life ( both while working and post retirement) is much much better than private sector jobs of the same level...and in case 1 wanna do private job, then its better if 1 goes for mba from some reputed college... and directly get placed in an above mid management level... as the salary and perks some reputed company's provide is unmatched( i m not taking abt work pressure and all becoz its always dere in any job), and to get that life style and salary it takes years in a govt.. job, obviously excluding ias/ips/pcs....
@thunder11 any kind of ajob.......just give ur best shot
@paras16 yes buddy i do agree there is no substitute for hard and smart work..but ur best should be in a right direction, 1 should be very smart in choosing a career or a job, many times we just take a job becoz at dat point we need it, not caring abt the future.. which is dangerous...its a human tendency dat wid time monotony in a job sets in, its natural so dere should be sme motivating factors to help u continue it can be anything frm ur passion for it ,money, luxury, job security, career growth to appreciation .. so i was elaborating these factors in a govt and private jobs.. i dint mean to term any job good or bad... as every job is good an has ample opportunities in it for a person to grow

@VijayRawat : I would sincerely request you to stop creating confusion among aspirants. Like any other job, there's PROs n COns here as well. But, the way you have explained the whole porfolio is as incorrect as it can be. And, the manner in which you are passing these information, it looks like as if you are not having even an iota of knowledge abt this job.

Buddy....There's nothing like 'Set Target' .... But if u stretch this term too much, then everything that we do in life has some sort of targets... right? As per your incorrect information, many aspirants might have thot this 'set target' as too much crucial...and some may even have assumed that it would risk the job if the so called targets are not achieved.

AAO job involves more of administrative work that may include devising new schemes, inspecting policies, managing and finding claims, client interactions, co-ordinating with other departments and providing assistance to AO. Apart from this, you will be given a set target to get the L.I.C.s as well.
