@nehaarya why AAo is not good?
I compared AAO with BANK PO & I said later is more good rather better than previous one.Please dont comment just by taking a part of my wordings.Indeed AAO is good one khaskar tab jab itne qualified bande berozgaar hai India me but IMO(based on conversations with guys from both the sectors;PSB's & LICI as well) Bank PO is better.

how are u all preparing for reasoning,,
and what about g.k and computers..
i have made some notes regarding computer knowledge any one need it..
go for the basics like P&L;,SI&CI;,,ratios,, and speed is what matters more in these type of exams,,not knowledge,,
hey guys we cant start a discussion on LIC aao and can help each other crack the exam,,

hey guys i filled my form yesterday and when i paid through the credit card.....it gave a message that the transaction had failed.....but immediately got the message from the bank that they have received a transaction of Rs 511......i didnt get any reg no. also....wat should i do???
will we get any mail confirmation after applying ?
i paid money after dat i downloaded application form also...but no mail confirmation
will dat be a prob ?

hi when i paid through my debit card....it gave a message that the transaction had failed.....but was billed rs 511 ..what to do pls help
i have shared the LIC previous year paper..
@apocalypse16 ur bank ac will show that amt deducted but as txn failed it did not go to LIC. wait for somedays bank will return ur money. then agian start the fees payment. Do not fill the form again.
Hi, I have entered the city for exam in maharashtra but I am from mp and want posting in mp.
Is is true that LIC give postings in the state where we take exam or I can get my posting (If I will be selected than only) in my home state. Please guys, does anyone has any idea about this?

Relax.. It happened to me too. but after a week or so it got credited back to my bank acc.
if you have not received any confirmation about your registration through mail. I will advice you to try and register again and this time use offline payment option.. pay through bank only after 3 days from the date of registration (very imp) .. And then after the payment gets received you'll get another confirmation from LIC.. hope this helps. 
@tacco yes buddy i do have, and the best book for reasoning is " a modern approach to verbal and non verbal reasoning" by rs agarwal, a thick book but the best in the market, helpful for every exam under the sun....and coupled with arihant's complete guide to lic aao which would release by march end.... its there on flipkart.. so it would be sufficient for lic aao prep( there are many books for extensive study but these 2 things would be sufficient), focus more on English , GK.. as they will surely provide u an edge over others...according to him paper is not very tough, and easy compare to sbi exams.. but competition is tough so cant take anything lightly.......

To bhaiya Ministry of External Affairs me hi raho if it is 5 days a week. LIC is 6 days a week.
Moreover aapka MEA ka office posh city locations par hoga. LIC ka daftar kahin bhi ho sakta hai.
LIC me 4 saal ka bond bhi hai ye zaroor yaad rakhna. MEA mein to kuchh bechna nahi padta. LIC sells insurance and the competition in life insurance is going up with time. So many companies have entered now.
