First of  all I want to say one thing.

Nearly  1157 candidates have been selected nly from general only.

In pagal guy we r less than 150 genral. 

balance 1000 are somewhere. 

Arnd 150 in pagalguy , nearly 120-130 expecting 250+

may be 20 in numbers ecpecting 240-250

okay fine.

Did u think ur expected cut off is ur same mark?

I never expected in IBPS PO 2014 with just 84 attempt. But I shocked the cut off was 82 and I am 83.  I know I made 1 wrong in GK and 3 to 5 wrong in english. I expected arnd 70.....But the result is 13 more my expectatation.Why?..Its due to normalisation. 


I  expected in IBPS PO 2015 with 101 attempt. But I shocked the cut off was nly 76 and I am 77.  I thought I hav gud accuracy. I expected arnd 90..But the result is 13 less the expectation...why??..due to Normalaisation.

So ur expected marak will not the same mark.

may be it happens to 40 % of general people.

I mean 0.6 x 1157 =  462 candidates

Balance 695 candidates your written result will be lesser or higher the expectation.

So 250 expected candidates expectataion can go to 240 or 260  SO the cut off lies between 240-245  or even  lesser. 

Another point those who are thinking 260-270 , dont think e ll get the same mark...may your mark will come down to 255 due to normalisation. 

Everyone know 2 wrong in aps & reasoning can reduce your expectation mark to 7.5 and 2 wrong in gk & comp can reduce to 5 marks.

So get ready for your result day. 

My prediction

Written cut off

UR - 237

OBC - 229

SC - 220

ST -211

Final cut off

UR - 293-295 (Since majaority will be getting 250-260)

OBC - 277-280

SC - 265-267

ST -  250-253

Let us try to consider normalization in predicing cutoff

ONLY FOR UR CAT

candidates given paper on 5,6 plz reduce ur marks by 4

candidates given paper on 12,13 plz increase ur marks by 4 

Total normalization 8 marks

Below avg int 31-34

With avg int 35-37

With above avg int 38-41

With very good 42-45

With excel 46-48

plz add accordingly

Lol...Normalisation doesnt mean 5 th & 6 th batch to reduce 4 marks ....12 & 13 th batch to increase 4 marks.

Example.

I am 5 th eve shift. 

My computer was very easy...Every candidates of this session got a average of  22 questions correct.

My friend is 12 th eve shift.

His computer is little tough...Every candidates of this session  got a average of 20 questions correct. 

So by normalisation. 4 marks(2 questions to balance) is reduced for 5 th student candidates,

But vice versa...if  5 th eve shift GK was moderate and average of 17 questions are correct.

12 th eve shift is easy and average of got 19 questions correct


So by normalisation. 4 marks(2 questions to balance) is reduced for 12th student candidates,

So by result both wil get same marks. 

you cant reduce 4 marks to one batch and 4 marks to one batch.

Equipercentile method used by CAT... Shift 1 .. eg gk section.. paper was easy so topper attempted 27/30 .. they will convert this 27 to 100%ile and so on.. this implies 18 will be like 66%ile . Once the have converted all, they will again convert 100%ile into marks making 100%ile as 30 and 66%ile as 20. Shift 2 ... gk was tough.. topper got 20/30 so 20 becomes 100%ile and upon second conversion 100 becomes 30.. and candidate who scored 10/30 becomes 50%ile and he gets 15 .. This is what CAT use... on ibps website it's written that it also use equi percentile method.. I'm not sure weather it's same or not ..!!!

Bhai log matiyao cutoff prediction ko.. Jo hoga so hoga...10 din ki toh baat hai.. Kisi ko pata hai UIIC AO last exam me kitne marks pe interview call aaya tha?? Browsed alot but cudnt find....pls comment..

यहाँ cut off prediction को देख कर ऐसा लग रहा...फाइनल रिजल्ट आते आते लोग cut off 320 पार पहुँचा देंगे !! 😉😁😆😆

Two types of People.

One category 

Telling their expected marks  less than real mark to avoid  many will say u r selected..confirm job. 

Second category 

Telling their expected marks more than the real mark  to expect atleast  anyone will tell tat  u hav gud chance . confirm job.

Well an update.. I met a guy here on pg who told me that he attempted 250 marks of which he has 10 marks negative.. he is general category candidate.. had exam on 5th... a very nominal adjustment after normalisation and considering 95% accuracy for rest of his attempts.. it can be safely assumed that 235 is the max cut off.. and most probably it's below that.. so to all of them who are saying 240+, 250+ cutoff.. enjoy .... His attempts : 25 Reasoning = 75 Marks. 25 Maths (Don't know accuracy, expecining 67-70). 28 Comp= 56 Marks. 20 GK (4 Wrong). 230 Around

did anyone counted the number of candidates selected in aao 2013 exam from obc category? i did....there were around 201 vacancy for obc but the selected number is around 330.. :(..pls verify .i counted using 07 code

has d amount of time spent on a particular candidate got anything to do with d probability of getting gd marks in interview....&....'ATB' by d panelist an indication dt panelist were satisfied with d response of d candidate?....mere saath dono mae sae kuch nhi huwa.   interview went for abt 15 min....1st question to me was 'do u have any job offers at present?....tell me d exams in which u appeared?  ur interest?....here i committed a blunder....I said armed force.....after dt every question was related to armed force....why didn't u get select in 'SSB'? rank structure of army? when was second lieutenant rank removed?.... in d mean time one of d panelist....what's ur opinion on d issue in JNU...  what is ur view on 'nationalism'....tell me d difference in working of d two national party UPA & NDA....another panelist ...why don't u prepare of IPS.. here also I made a mistake...IPS ko mai ibps sunn liya aaur maine reply kar diya ....I don't have interest in banking services....all three gave an awkward look....d same panelist started telling .. .doors r not closed for u ....u can go for...upsc capf....maine jhat sae kha ....Sir why not lic...it is also a very  gd organization... iska bhi motive welfare of society... iss par panelist bolta hai...every organization has d same motive....last Mae .bolta hai aaur. kya karte ho ....maine bola....I love playing cricket....what u do as a cricketer?...I said I m a fast bowler... tell me ur speed...I said ..sir I have never measured it but it will b more than 130km/hr.. .difference between beamer & yourker...I replied...fir ...ur favourite bowler....Maine kha...I don't admire one bowler...I like different bowler for different quality...macgrath for line length,akram & waqar for reverse swing akhtar for pace,bravo for slower deliveries.... he said ..no indian bowler ..I said zaheer ...he asked.. any1 from present team...I said bumraah. ..& shaami....he said ...OK....u can go....I wished dem ....baas...

Guys i know 300 people who are expecting 300 in written and 50 or more in interview, i am sure there will be 50 more, so UR cutoff = UR vacancies = around 349/360 this time
