any idea as to wen r the final results gonna be out?...was told by one of the professors after the gd that they'll be put up on the website on 3rd april while another source said it'll take a month....

there is no such anouncement of second list on the site.........so i'm not sure of a second list if there is any..........
the best option is that u can call kj som n ask to them.......or u can mail the students their mail id is given at the last of the information brochuer.

well me to got a call for the same course n in the same state as u.....
. which other calls u are having so that u can look up to them for comparison...
more over are u looking fwd. to join the course seroiusly or keeping this as an option.
Well if you talk of AICTE approval, dat doesn't seems relevant as IIFT's programm is not AICTE approved too. Wat matters is industry recognition and placements. For freshers its really a handle with care kind of as its a specialised course in International Business. You dont have any option for safe come back once you go in. So its always better to have prior knowledge and your personal likings about possible job prospectus in international business before moving in.
Well will any Somaiya-PGPIBite may guide us about placements and average packages for PGPIB.
There is one more option for IB savvy guys of GIFT-Vishakhapatnam, to be comingup with their shortlist in march . By Infrastructure its a good bet. Please suggest if ne 1 have knowledge about its prospects.

I know i m doing a cross posting in dis thread, but cud not stop myself wen u said dat IIFT's IB programme does not hav an AICTE approval. My frnd i wud like to inform u all dat IIFT is a deemed university and dats the reason it offers a Masters degree unlike others who offer a PG diploma.
And that degree of IIFT is recognised by AICTE, UGC and GOI
hope this clarifies few issues.
As far as Gitam institute is concerned, guys, if u seriously want to pursue only IB den IIFT wud be the best bet. especially for people wid 4 yrs odd exp, its not advisable 2 go for somethin lesser.
If im not mistaken the KJ IB programme is quite recent, so do not hav much details on dat.

May be sumone frm the insti a PGPIB ite shud throw light on the issues like AICTE approval , current placements and also its safety for a fresher.......so seniors plzz cum forward:huh:
Also all u guys who made it into IB prog( me made it) can u find sum contacts of the students who r already there or the student co-ordinators whose names are given in the brochure mail them or call them personally and clear all the scruples..........
So wat say guyz.........cum on why simply speculations lets take a step forward and clear all our doubts....me too in the same process and any initiatives in this regard frm the others too will be helpful to everyone:)

I have got into ICFAI gurgoan also and now in PGPIB in SOmaiya and i am pretty in to confusion where to head:confused: . I know tht IB is a new subject tht has made it path in to the business . I being an engg.(fresher batch 2004) would like to know how good is to take step ahead and plunge in the IB.
and one more thing hey BUG i am taking this option seriously .
So asking every body out there to plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz :tellme: help me out as i have to decide by this 19th to get in to or nnot.

so do tell me about ur profile n where r u from....

thats a gud work blade718 i hve tried to contact some seniors (the given names) so u can hve a look what they replied.......
Somaiya offers 100 % placement. With work ex you can expect a salary of
25+
. The average pack was 3.66 with highest 6.7 (work ex) and then
6.3(work
ex).
minimum u can expect 16000. Its up2 u now. A lot of companies come to

Hostel is given on need to basis and is limited in numebr. preference
is
given to economically weaker students.

I am from PUNE and have done BE (E&Tc;) in 2004 from pune. So thats it I am going tomm. to meet some HRs of companies my friend is workign and will be able to get u some info. abt how is the college and it prospects as it is estd. in 2000...........

well guys sorry for the delay talked to the seniors over there. they say this year placements have been gud and avg pay has been 4lacs.
and he made one more suggestion people with 4+ yrs workex and who r expecting more than 6 lacs shudnt join KJS 
anyways i dont fall into that category so me joining for sure
