What is the take home salary for Assistant post? Some websites say it is about 25k and 22k after deduction, others say it is 35k and 32k after deduction. This is what I found in the notification: "‘Assistant’/ ‘Upper Division Clerk’in Level 4 of Pay Matrix and will be paid minimum basic pay of ₹25,500/- p.m." Apart from this HRA and Transport will be paid. So is the salary same for Assistant and UDC?
Gross salary depends upon city where you are living. HRA makes the difference. If you are living X category then HRA is 24% of basic, if Y city then 16% of basic, If Z city then 8% of basic.
Salary in hand for X city- 36000, for Y city- 33000, for Z 30000.
