hi i am a bank clerk and PO job aspirant and have this particularly nagging query. you see I am a graduate student with first class marks in Hotel Management from IHM-Goa. I did not have computer as a subject in my high school (9th - 12 th standard) but I did have a computer paper in the first year of my graduation degree. Which , may I add, I passed with good marks.
I would like to know whether passing the computer application paper in my grads would be considered proof of computer literacy or do I have to get a diploma or degree just so that I can apply for the ibps clerk exam.

Hello everyone! Making my first post here, because I'm looking for a bit of advice. 😃 I'm completing my bachelors in English in May and want to do HR, either at XLRI or at TISS Mumbai. The problem is, I've gotten into a fellowship program that will require me to stay out of the country between october 2015-april 2016. So I'll miss all the mba entrances and interview calls! I was just wondering, does anyone here have any idea if XL or TISS accepts skype interviews if i do appear and qualify for the written test? Or maybe is there a good HR course I could apply for through GMAT? Hope you guys can help out with this. Thanks! 😃
I have been working for a little more than 10 years and looking at doing a MBA, hopefully. I did my BSc and to be honest did not fair well ( 50 %) . So I don't have that going for me.
However, I was able to get a job post college and worked really hard and have got myself to a position of a Senior Manager at a fortune 500 company. I have always been a top performer in my career.
Here is where I need your help.
I would like yo work towards getting a MBA. I am not sure what options are available for some one like me. Would you suggest I do my bachelors again ( correspondence maybe, in order to get a better score?)

I have 2 years experience in estimation and design engineering works for fire protection works (mechanical field) in a reputed contracting company in UAE.
Have complete my B.E in mechanical engineering from Pune University.
I need suggestions as to whether pursuing an MBA from ISB, XLRI would be best suited to me.
I want to pursue MBA in risk management and end up doing risk analysis. (I believe it would help as I am already in the fire protection field).
Please suggest the chances of a person with my credentials getting selected for XLRI, ISB schools.
Following are the percentages obtained;

12th CBSE - 77%

I'll be graduating this may and I intend to take CAT 2015...I don't want to start working right away..I want to prepare religiously so that I can get into some of the reputed B schools..Do you think It is wise to do so? I really don't want to take any chances of screwing up CAT this year! Please help!
Hi Friends, I am Sunny, I live in Bangalore and decided today to appear for CAT 2015 (appeared for CAT way back in 2009 ,98%ile then).
I joined PagalGuy today and searched for the better Coaching institute in Bangalore , but could not find any relevant discussion threads (most of them are outdated).
Would you people be kind enough to point me in the right direction ( any links to discussion or your opinion about the better institutes) ?
I completed my graduation in 2014... took up job for 6 months and then left it... now preparing for CAT. Feels like almost wasted couple of year of my life.. Hope this gap doesn't haunts me 😞
Hello people. I finished my graduation this month and met a counsellor for my MBA options (abroad). The guy ended up advising me for management programs instead of MBA directly. (as it'd help me gain experience in the field before applying for MBA)
Have you guys heard of these programs and is it really necessary or should I take my chance at MBA (abroad)?
P.S. - I finished my graduation in IT. Haven't appeared for any entrance exams yet.
This is Aritra from Delhi. I am planning to give year's CAT....I have 30 months of Experience as Project Manager in an Infrastructure Co. Joined PagalGuy recently and found it very refreshing and informative.
I gave CAT 14 while working but faired poorly. This year m gunning for glory. I have last years TIME study modules and also enrollled in TIME and IMS test series this year.
Guys, need your advice. Opinions will be appreciated.
