Current Scenario: Satisfied with life and work. Sitting pretty at pay package > 10 LPA. No particular goal in life. Thinking of giving CAT so that there is something to aim for that will keep me motivated.
Why on PG: To find answers to certain questions like should I try to aim for CAT 2014/2015? What are my chances if I do target?

I have done my graduation in 2012. I want to write CAT14 but there is two years gap for some personal reasons and my grads are below avg.
10th - 54.6
12th - 52.6
grad. - 56.3
I belong to OBC category.

i was Born in kerala (yes a mallu) , raised in bihar(yes bihari) , then also went to rajasthan(oh no ye to rajasthani nikala :p) and now a days roaming the streets of the capital of gods own country (any guesses puys :p) working or shall i say enjoying or shall i say getting screwed up in a famous IT company.

I am a self proclaimed photographer and traveller. Wilderness runs in my veins (Boys don't get ideas;)).
I have been a nemophilist from a very young age,thanks to my father's job in the North Eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh. Never been brilliant but have an insatiable diet to learn everything under the sky. Monotony kills me and pretentions put me off. Being a bibliophile I find peace when I am surrounded by books even if I haven't read them all...but a feeling that one of them might hold the answer to my anxiety helps me calm down. This also explains my sepiosexuality 😃

I have few doubts troubling me for a while now.
Doubt #1 I have taken up this overambitious task of taking up CAT this year, am I insane?
(Consider the facts that I am in my late 30s, haven't touched mathematics books ever since I passed out Engg in 2005, have been an average student all my life?!!!)
Doubt#2 Is doing doctorate better or should I try getting into academics with the present degrees I have?
(I want to teach, no doubts about it, but in some Management college. Oh1 I forgot to tell you I have done my masters in HR and IB)
Could somebody help me with a good research topic in the field of Human Resource Management or Organizational Behaviour?
