I am Taran and i'm here to prep up for a monster called MBA. I am from Delhi and CAT 2013 would be my first attempt. @Pagalguy seems to be an awesome website for, what one would call, "fun while learning ! ".
I am really scared and have no idea where to start

@simplyshahid Lol, what has engineering got to do with verbal 😛 dont worry, youre gonna figure it out somehow . Try reading newspapers once in a while or some books . A year is enough !

My name is Rishi. I finished my graduation in 2007 in International Hotel Mgmnt. Worked for couple of years in hotel industry, and in BPO sector as well. I have been wanting to get into an MBA program from an institution of good repute since 2009, but never had put in the discplined effort required and thus always shied away from appearing.
I am currently not working and intend to fully focus on cracking GMAT/CAT examinations and hopefully findiing a place in one of the top mba schools. My area of interest is Marketing.

hi...i m prashant ..computer engineer...my cat score is- oa -86.53..qa&d; i-86.31 va&lr; - 82.50 no work ex...10th-73.1%..12th-74% both state board, grad-68.2...i m confused which colleges to apply...any suggestions???
@pobby it will be very difficult for you to get into any top bschools with this score and no work experience. if u want good school i suggest u work for some time and give cat again next year.if u want to study only try applying some private mba school which consider cat score.
@taran23 i am also satrtn my prep fr cat. hopefuly we dicus thngs , share ideas form a grp or smthn whch will help in consolidating our efforts. anyways its imp to strt smwere
@taran23 u say ur weak in math so strt at basics n cover all the topics of math first. take a topic go thrgh its theory n then try solving its problms. this has to be ur frst step coz only then ull undrstnd shrtcuts in tht area. use any mba book or mba mat. or this site has prp sections strt there.

@subschand LOL there is no latest or easy tip to crack CAT..Hardwork and persistence is required.
Start with basic material and be done with it by may or june..then go on and maul the mocks and finally the feline.
