@ABChakravorty welcome..

hey puys!

i stay in delhi and i wanna join a good mba coaching. i have attended a trial 'basic' class @ alchemist CP. but i intend to join BYJU'S karol bagh cuz they're really awesome with their shortcuts and techniques. english is pretty impressive as well.

NOW THE FACTS:

1. BYJU'S got intangible main teachers.(but have tangible ones to clear doubts)
2. ppl say join BYJU only if your quant is strong. Mine's just average.
3. attended alchemist's quant demo-basic class. somehow did not like the way teacher taught.
4. ppl say no need to get into all the story behind a topic. just able yourself with techniques to solve CAT. so i think BYJU'S the way?

What do you puys thinkk?
PLEASE REPLY ASAP>i need to get on with the prepp
THANKS

Hi everyone I am Swati.Currently in lady shri ram college doing statistics hons 2nd year.Still unsure whether i really want to do MBA or not
We often come across this question as to what we should do so that we can get handsome salary in a quick time, a big degree from a famous college to show off 😛 most of us want to do that but to be true we should do what we are good at...something that we enjoy doing else choosing a better career path but with no interest may get boring in future and you might regret that...So choose your path wisely :mg:

Would like you to go through google...you will get the info easily about all the coursed under mba else PM me :)

Hey there, am a Patna guy studying B.E. in bangalore, always confused, always excited and a fast learner!! Gave cat to get a feel for it yesterday and i feel like cat is made for me!! Am here to find a mentor here ( or mentors) who can guide me!! Next year i want to bell the cat but am still a little scared of my past results which could be a hindrance in admission to top colleges!! I have 87, 74 and 70 in 10, 12th and till now in grad... graduating in 2013!! And the worst part i had a year drop after 12th which i completely wasted to be frank and i dont know how to cover that big blot in my future career but its something that is motivating me to go to an extra level so d drop year become a non issue!! Never gave any mock test for cat but am sharing with you my NITAT result ( conducted by NIIT) and AMCAT ( Employability Assessment test),, and my cat performance yesterday,, Experts please give suggestions on what according to you should i be doing in future.. In short guide me.. Thnx in advnce!!

NITAT 2012- 99 percentile AIR 900 ( Solved 100 min paper in 70 mins and if there have been more questions to keep me occupied another 30 mins, the score cud have been much better)

AMCAT - 95%ile Quant, 99.2 LR, 99.7 English ( 7 lacs students hav appeared in it)

CAT 2012 - Attempted 11 ( All correct) + 30 ( 24 hoping to be correct, few calculated guesses)

I know the first two tests were nowhere the cat level and cat did find my loop holes but i have not given any other tests so that is what i can show for now!! But considering i am underprepared in all the tests (No prep) do you think if i start jan my prep for cat 2013, i have a chance to make it to iims or fms... those are d only insti m lukin upto for nw!!

@ankan14 See whether you got 10 months or 10 weeks of time if you give everything you got then no one can stop you from getting into IIM's or any other college...
So just join a good coaching
Have a good command over the concepts...
Do have a check on your mock scores...they are the shadow of your next Cat score and focus on your preps no where else...PM for further ques...ATB :mg:

ATTENTION PLEASE...!! THIS CAN BE REALLY HELPFUL TO U ALL.
people.. i'd like to bring an idea to everybody's notice. pagalguy is by far best platform that provides the necessary data for mba prep. but clearing cat isn't the end. so y not make it a more comprehensive an interactive hub for true education seekers li
ke us?.
WE SHOULD ALSO INCLUDE GROUP DISCUSSIONS IN THIS PREPERATION PROCESS OF OURS. gd sessions would also in a way prepare us for pi
this would be very helpful for all of us as it would gradually improve our standard of speaking.
if it is possible to make a group of 10 people who could connect through internet and debate on a random topic. this debate should be recorded and kept as a record. so that it can be reheared and performance can be judged from time to time.
i would really like everyone to seriously ponder on the thought raised asap.
thannk you all. additional suggestions are welcomed

I presume, someone on PG must have done something like this. To the admins, and other seniors.....kindly guide.
On our level....dont know about recording.....but practice sure....there are lot of avenues we can use to conduct GD as well as prepare for PIs :)

THe link u'hv mentioned is to discuss the topics. Anyone can write on a topic but the major challenge lies in speaking with the same fluency. I'd like any of u to take An initiative.

The above program stands until or unless anybody is more interested in a google hangout or yahoo, for which we are open.....mobile is convenient and quality is clear, that's the only reason of going for this last option.

Please give your view on the same................
