hi everybody ,i am biswo and i am a cat aspirant.
i have scored 71% in icse,59% in 12th(SCience background) and 79% in graduation(BSC itm).
i passed my graduation in the year 2010.
And then i did a job for a year @60k a year just gain experience as it would help me to get into a better b-school.
i then gave cat 2011 ,i scored just 83.3pecentile.
got calls from lbsim,tapmi,imt-n,xime and sdmimd.
i only could convert sdmimd.
now the last date to deposit the installment fees is 12th of april 2012.
now i have applied for welingkar and itm navi mumbai.
Fees of sdmimd is almost 9L and looking at roi,it bothers me a lot.
Now i am in a delimma whether to join sdmimd or wait and clear we and itm-nm or give cat another try as mba is not just a qualification....... experts plz help.....

Class X (ICSE) 88.8%
Class XII (ISC) 94.25%
B.Tech(Electrical) DGPA 8.64
Gave cat 2011 but the result was very average. a modest 83 percentile. XAT was 87.8 percentile. Hoping to take another shot at it this year only.

This is Preeti here from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh.
I am an Engineering graduate in Computer Science and Engineering, passed out in 2011.
Currently I am employed with Tata Consultancy Services and based in Bangalore.
Like where ever you land or achieve has a purpose and a mission behind, mine is no exception.
By now, you all must have guessed, I am a CAT aspirant indeed. That's why I am here today. Since my school days in higher secondary, I was interested in appearing for CAT. And I appeared for CAT 2010 during my final year in Engineering. But things went in a different way. I reached the test centre late (though before the start !) and got really nervous and tensed even before the exam started. I screwed up my Verbal Ability (still clueless as to how that happened !), when scores in Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation were pretty fine. Post the experience, my passion to get into the finest of B-Schools in India deepened further. But, I moved on with my job in hand for the time being.
I got to know about PG from a friend who's now a part of the prestigious - Indian Institure of Management, Indore. I have been following PG for a while now. And I am really inspired and feel motivated with the experiences of people who beat the odds and went on to realise their dreams.
I plan to appear for CAT again in a year or two. So, I want to be even more serious than before and leave no effort put less to achieve my goal. And I have PAGALGUY now.. :)

Aim for next one year? MBA in FMS DU or IITs are prime targets.

I would say NO. The fee is much high and the opportunity cost is also huge. Beside IMT-G is losing its sheen.
