I am highly apprehensive with respect to something that happened to me in 3rd sem of my engineering. I got a backlog due to hard luck but i have cleared it.
Also my 10th is 86 and 12th is 72...
B.E. Mechanical with CGPA of 7.1.
work ex- 2 years at Thermax
Decent extracurriculars
Now as i mentioned,,i have got a backlog and that is snatching away my peace.
I want to know whether i make a fair chance in a good b-school??

If all you want is a good B School,do not worry.It won't be a reason for your rejection if you perform well enough in the MBA rounds.I know some cases where the people had truckloads of backlog and/or terrible CGPA but made it to great colleges.So do not worry.All the best

this is with ref to the "rachits89" post regarding the backlog..unfortunately even i also got the backlog in my last sem of engg only( only one backlog in all 08 sem which i clred)
. I wanna know that is it really matters at the tym of admission process..plz if anybdy knws then throw sm light on it.
Later , i wud lyk to add that i had some of the frns who had backlog ...but they got into IIFT and other some colleges..but those people took admission couple of yurs back..
Secondly , kindly post which coaching center / test series you people are goin to join/joined.

Khushboo none of ICFAI colleges you have mentioned is good.The best ICFAI college is considered of Hyderabad bt it's fee is too high and batch strength is really large.So if you want ROI and good placement i would advice don't join any of these colleges
