Hi i am kandarp patel. I am an ex indian army officer and I wish to give gmat in next 2 months. I have given gmat last month and i scored a dismal 550 score. So i want to leverage this blog to improve my scores. Currently I am in indore and I would like to know if any one in indore is preparing for a gmat. Kindly let me know

Why on PG? : Originally it was to learn more about the CAT/XAT/GMAT & Life@ Bskools, but now i would honestly have to say....

Specifically looking for what on PG? : To network with like minded puys, make lots of friends;),compete with the best & most importantly to fulfill a dream :cheers:

Specifically looking for what on PG? I am looking for guidance and strategies from all the amazing people out here. To discuss how to go about CAT and to know where am i going wrong. I really believe that if you get a Really hardworking and smart peer group to study with , den its easier to deal with competitive exams.(Coz if you happen to get lazy at times one of ur peers will push you in and vice versa.)

Aim for next one year? just one aim -----> Give my 100% to CAT 2012

Hope we will have a great time interacting and getting some valuable guidance from all the smart people here.

Hi Everyone !!
I am new to this forum. I am currently in my final year of computer science Engineering and I am the topper of my batch(CGPA-9.94/10) . I am a non- resident Indian. I am interested in getting into IIMs and I have applied through my GMAT score(700). I had applied to IIM B,C,L,I. ALso, i am the only student from my batch who had a letter of recommendation from the director of the university....I know this score is not very high..but I felt that this score along with my academic background will be sufficient enough to atleast take me to the next round of GD/PI. I failed to get a call from IIM C and many below me in terms of CGPA and GMAt 710 got a call. This was disappointing..howver, i am lucky enough to get a call from IIm Indore...i want someone to advice me on how to prepare for IIM I PI and WAT..I am ready to work extremely hard..but I just request you all to guide me....thanks a lot. Also, it will be a confidence booster for me if someone could tell me if IIM Indore has ever taken freshers like me.
