60.40% in 10+2 (WBCHSE)
59.13% in B.SC Graduation (Psychology Hons.) (CU)
65.10% in PG (Applied Psychology) (CU)
I have 13 months of work experience in recruitment industry.
Score 34 percentile (Quant DI 62percentile; Verbal LR 15 percentile)
I have applied for MBA day programme.
Can I expect any call form IISWBM for GD PI??

i have waasted 14 days of my CAT PREPRATION
sleeping ,wasting it in parties,and thinking about the possbilities,but all this searching and sorting led me PG,and i am glad i did that,now ,when i am here,and after reading SPECIAL GIFT from PG.it made me feel homely enogh,to get things running though.the thing i learnt is 'kill yourself for a year,and be a killer for he rest of your life'.i hope my journey along with fellow puys be a fortune filled for me and my fellow puys alike...looking forward for treachrous days,and hardwork nights.
i will be on PG everyday from 7-8 pm.
p.s.-my friends say i motivate very well,if anybody feels down,just give me a chance.

Now, at this age, I wish to study and pursue my future in intellectually engaging and challenging ways .
As money and management are my main interests I am thinking of pursuing an MBa , preferably abroad.
Can anyone suggest me a good career counselor here sothat I can speak/write to in person about my needs and who can guide me to my aspirations ?

welcome balaji , u r havin pretty much good %le . keep ur current track and as u r having last sem of 3rd year its best time to join coaching 4 eg time , CL,vidyalankar etc. but that u need to decide by urself

Well everyone needs a mentor,and I think PG is a perfect place fr CAT aspirants like me,I'm specifially looking for CAT related materials & info frm other expericenced guys in forums while other Mba college like XLRI,FMS,IIFT are also in my hit list,my planning is simple gona get into some elite mba college.
Next one year would be a tough one fr me, frm wanabe to someone....i av started my prepartion and need PG to help me in getting into right path, may be i'll join Wipro fr experience but my passion and dream will be CAT, i noe i would crack it soon...:cheers:

I've completed my B.E. in Power Engineering from Jadavpur University in 2006. 😃
Current Occupation:Thermal Power Plant Commissioning engineer, Essar Power, MP. :)
Why on PG? I want to pursue an MBA degree in Power. I've already appeared in CAT 2011 and scored 91.76 percentile. I now require some inputs about prospect of studying Power MBA in NPTI. I need guidance and help on this matter. 
Specifically looking for what on PG? As already mentioned, I need expert advise on studying power MBA after having 5.5 yrs of work experience in Power sector.
Aim for next one year? As I've already developed my skill as an Operation & Commissioning engineer, now my aim is to shift my job profile to other areas in power sector like business development, power trading, power financing, exploring areas like renewable energy sources, etc.
