as my parents wanted me 2 go for engg..
but i i know i am made to do an MBA.. 
i want to go for an MBA abroad 
either in marketing or media and entertainment..

This is nidhi bindra,I have done B.Sc.(H) physics(86%-2006) and just completed my LLB(61%-2011),both from delhi university but always have an inclination towards MBA.I always feel that if i dint try it now i will carry grudge all my life so want to appear fully prepared for CAT 2012.However deciding that first thing i did was to join pagalguy.....Following are my queries:-
1.If not working ,is gvn time sufficient(plan to start in january) to prepare for CAT given the fact who knows what happens on C-DAY?
2.I stay in north delhi,which is the best institute to prepare for CAT or which is better for verbal part since i feel that i am not really good at it?
3.I have verbalophobia as in i am scared of it...so how to counter that?
4.Apart from institute preparation wat else one should keep reading to keep updated on current affairs and business gk?
5.Also i have heard that its must to read economics times,i am really bad at it...so how to catch up on that?
So thats it,waiting for quickest possible reply as what pg is famous for....

I have done my engineering from Mumbai uni....
with 3 years work exp in Banking....(wealth and trade relationship management)
I am looking MBA in abroad ie US....
Actually i have shortlisted some universities....
University of florida state..
university of midwestern state...TX
University of missouri state....
I got positive reply from first 2 universities....
Actually My problem is......as per the job scenario in US ,i dont want to spend so much for my MBA...
University of florida cost $25-26K
University of midwestern state cost $11K (Dillard school of business and admin) It is also AACSB accredited and recognized by other accredition commities....
Is this safe collage....
What are the chances of getting job???
If florida and midwestern state has equal chances, then i go for second one...
It cost less so i dont mind to pay and come back to India....I read very bad review about other collages which cost more but good ranked...

Make daily words target (say 8-10)....Use that words After 3-4 months u wil see result...
Q4,5 I know reading Business magazine and eco times ....is quit boring
Activate ur GPRS/2G on mobil/ use net...Go to yahoo/gmail...read business or eco news headings at starting.....later start reading full article on mobile .....after some days.....u can refer magzine/eco times for same news.....within a month u will develope intrest in reading.....When u discuss with experts u will find huge gain in ur knowledge....

I am aspiring for CAT '12. I have a Bachelor's degree in journalism and a Master's degree in East Asian Studies from the University of Delhi, where I took up China as my core specialization area. After completing my post grad in July 2010, I worked as a full time (paid) research intern with a defense research institute in Delhi for ten months. Right now I am working as a research associate with a bilateral trade promoting body for India and China. Simultaneously i am also pursuing an advanced diploma in Chinese language from my faculty at DU where i completed my Master's education.
I have a couple of queries on my mind.
-I am planning to leave the present job in January and start preparing for CAT then onward. Are eight to nine months of serious prep enough?
-I want some help in locating best coaching institutes for CAT here in Delhi (TIME or CL ?)
-How much should i be fretting over my school performance as it is not exactly something to be proud of! I scored 75 percentile in my 10th and a pathetic 62 percentile in my 12th. I need some serious opinions on this one.
-Finally, I know my educational background is fairly unique and could be relevant even, as everybody keeps telling me about how i have an edge with my background in China studies. Moreover, off late I have observed lots of B-schools in India focusing on Chinese language and coming out with senior management programs in tandem with universities in China. But I can't be sure if that indicates anything positive for me. Does anyone have any idea what do these college actually mean when they say they prefer diversity ??
