preparing for cat from TIME

last year ie 2010 i gave CAT EXAM...although i was ineligible as per d education criteria coz at that time i was in bcom 2nd year !! so PUYZ plz tell me that was it a mistake to give CAT 2010 as ineligible n can it harm me in giving CAT 2011

I am in Bcom 2nd year and planning to do mba. I want to know if i should start preparing for mba entrances from now on and if yes then where should i take classes ? private classes will be better or i should take it from some reputed coaching centres like time, ims etc...

Hi Sonam, you should join any insti either CL or TIME, I think CL is good bcz they give more personal attention........... i am also new here and have joined CL so i think its a good start

HI Forum.

I am an aspirant of the GMAT as all of you here...Tried a lot of times to be earnest in my approach but i think i will give it my best shot this time...I currently work in a MNC in Hyd and am trying to devote at least 2 hours for preparing for the GMAT everyday.

Could someone guide me on what all materials i should be referring considering i need to start form scratch? It would be a real help.

Hope to be an active participant in all discussions in sharing my experiences as well.

Hello all 'pagal'guys, I'm Saurav ,currently in my final year of engg. at NIT, Bhopal.

Much like most of you out there, I'm looking to score some cool B-school through the CAT :P

Had heard a lot about PG from friends and even from our instructor at TIME.

By the way I'd also given a thought to appearing the gmat as backup, but am not preparing separately for it. Am not sure if a decent cat prepn can take care of gmat needs...

hi sonam :)... 1st tthings 1st .. collect info abt all colleges
=> check out which exam r accepted which colleges
=> after selecting a range of colleges , see there cut off s
=> then accodingly prepare for it

Hi Everyone,

I am P.M.Vinay Kumar, presently working in a reputed MNC as a Software professional, in Mainframes. I have an overall experience of 2 years 8 months.

My aim even before getting a job was to have an MBA degree, but as everyone knows, experience counts, so I have worked to gain some professional experience and I am presently planning to go for my Aim .

I have planned to do my MBA, and also started to work on it. But as every new bee, I too have some (many:D) doubts and query's about where to do an MBA, and what is the right time etc etc...

PaGaLGuy is a website that I have come across during my search for information about MBA. So as I was going through the website and the threads, I found that this website is pretty content-full about the Masters program. I did no delay anymore, and I have registered....now I too am a PaGaL among you all...


I will sure search around the previous posts to get some info, but I will sure need help from you guys to get some idea about the MBA program...

I'm Aditya and i hail from the city of pearls(Hyderabad).
I'm currently going to enter my pre final year of graduation.Im doing my Btech from a local college here.Im going to enter my 3rd year.Currently in the process of wasting my summer hols.It was about time i joined a website or a forum to get together with fellow MBA aspirants and i guess everything else is second best to pagal guy.So here I am.I've been talking to lots of people in my friend's circle and my family for advice and suggestions regarding MBA coaching.I'm planning to take the super long term course offered by the TIME institute.My aim is to get a good score, actually a very very good score in the business school exams like CAT XAT etc. and GMAT too.The more i read and get to know about the world of finance and banking, the more in love i fall with it.So help me out folks.
