Well, m neha. i m staying in mumbai. preparing for CAT 11. not taking any coaching. m here on pagalguy because i want to remain updated about the latest that s happening in the country related to management entrance exams. also to stay in touch with others who are preparing for such entrance tests so that i can get new perspectives. i found the quant thread interesting. will try to solve a few everyday. other than that, i am still learning at PG. if any of you can tell me whats more to know onPG. please help me. i d very grateful..

one more thing i want to know can you tell me MBA from IP UNIVERSITY.

The below is my profile. I wanted to know if I score above 99+ in CAT then is there any chances to get calls from IIMs.
10th : 72.33 % jharkhand state board
12th: 70.88 % jharkhand state board
B.E: 76.43 % Jadavpur University
Work-ex: 12 month till may 2011
Plz clarify friends , otherwise it would be waste for me to prepare for CAT.

I'll be completing my B.E. in june, 2011. I took CAT-2010 but scored only 95 percentile. Have been placed at Infosys technologies though not sure if I'm going to join.
I'm on PG because this site would give me a chance to interact with a lot of MBA aspirants as well as students from many great B-schools.
Aim for the next one year: Making it to the 2012 PGDM batch of any of the IIMs 
Even i Scored only 86% in 10th and 78% in 12th .... I thought it would never matter... Is there any eligibility for IIM's on 10th 12th basis??

yeah there is a weitage given to academic scores .. for giving call even after u score good in cat.
but this is not in all iims .
this disadvantage has just one solution .. score.. too too high in cat .. ie .. get 100 %ile in atleast one section
PS:
ur scores are fine .. for 10th 12th .. score .. good in ur grad ...

FOR THE GENERAL catagory u need 99.6 and above for a fresher to get iim calcutta call last season .. chek the cutoffs .. ettc..
not a waste for u .. y do u think so .. ur acads dont look that bad ...
