I have recently started preparation for B-schools entrance ( both India and abroad) ......Nowadays concentrating on GMAT more than CAT.....
I have done my engineering and now have 2+ years of experience in the IT sector.
Looking forward for some good discussions on anything to everything so that we can make most out of it to near our goals.

my biggest problem right now is i have got an arrear in my 6th sem . can anybody tell me how adversely this can affect my hopes in cat . oyther than that i have a 89.4% in 1oth and 93% in my 12th . I am very desperate about clearing cat ... plz anybody help meout:splat:

I am looking to make a career in Business analytics and am here to get information about the same and develop a good network. I plan to do an MBA long term but my immediate goals are to switch to a business analytics domain wherein I can learn more about topics such as market sizing, market segmentation, customer behavior study for identifying and evaluating new business opportunities, use of statistics in business decision making and reason behind this being a potent combination etc. So I hope I can add value to the forum and also benefit from it.

This is sulagna. I have completed my B.tech in biotechnology last year (2010). I have been searching for a job in the biotech sector but my one year of effort turned futile because there isnt any suitable job for btech biotechs. I was kinda depressed because one year had passed but then I got a job offer from Emami Ltd. I accepted it but had to sign a bond of 3 years. I joined in may this year (2011) first one year they will be providing a training and then appoint me as a brand executive. I am here because I want an MBA. I want to know what kind of MBA will suit me the best. Should I do one while working, or get an executive MBA after 3 yrs or a fulltime 2 year MBA. I am looking forward for some helpful suggestions.

This wont affect you if you clear the arrear in time dude.You can easily make this almost unnoticeable in PI if you are pretty good in other areas.As of now,concerntrate in scoring high in MBA exams...:cheerio:
