Too many to list, all mostly personal and family related issues. Stuff that cannot be worked around without huge impacts.
Worst of all, the interviews with K and B went *amazingly* well, to the extent that I can act like an overconfident brat and say I made it. I wonder how bad it'll feel when I will receive those confirmation e-mails and will have to step down. 😞

B.E (Mechanical) from BMSCE, bangalore. Worked with Accenture since 2007 (Java/J2EE Developer). Realized what a soul-sucking, slave-labour based operation this "software industry" actually is and gave it the boot.

I'd joined a while back, this place is the best for notifications, gyan and the like. I went through the prep threads extensively...in fact, the first 2 hrs of prep used to be PG question solving...very helpful!
Specifically looking for what on PG?
The right means and methods of getting into a good B-school
Aim for next one year?
I have a few calls this season (and a few converts too) so the next one year is going to be spent in studies (or the lack of them). And in good time too, I am going out of my mind sitting at home with nothing to do. A chap can only play X hours of PC games a day

Its time I go through this introducing myself stuff in PG. Though I'm not very new here,but strangely enough I have never got myself registered before. I always browsed through its pages. Recently,urged by one of my buddies,I decided to be a pagal.
Soumya Chattopadhyay. Thats wat any application form filled by me reads in the space of name.
B.Tech Engineer in Electronics & Communication in 2009.
Working For 1.5 years in ERICSSON and based in Kolkata.
I am here because it is a hell lot of a helpful place to be 4 anyone going 4 an MBA.
I sat for CAT in 2009 & got a 97.4 which did not help me to convert anything substantial.Thogh did not apply for anything as well.
Looking to be back in it after a gap of couple of years. Donno how much it is still left in me. Hoping 4 d best,preparing 4 d worst..........

I have completed my graduation from Delhi University (2010) and am currently working with McKinsey KC (research/consulting firm) in Gurgaon.
I wish to pursue MBA in 2012 and therefore want to attempt CAT 2011. One big dilemma that I am facing currently is whether to quit job (after 1 year of work-ex in May 2011) or continue. I wish to seriously prepare for CAT/ other entrance exams.
It would be great to hear some expert advice on this. Best regards.

Buddy,
PGDM stands for post graduate diploma in management . Most of the b-schools except those affiliated to universities confer you with post graduate diploma. Only b-schools like FMS which are affiliated to universities can give you MBA degree.
However, you won't face any issue with PGDM as it is considered equivalent to MBA in industry subjected to the condition that your college has got its post graduate diploma approved.
