I gave Cat for the first time when I was in my last year of college i.e 2008 but scored a lowly 52.68 %...yes I remember it to the exact fraction.....felt like a real looser.
I gave it again Last year.....score improved drastically to 85 % with a 99 % in Verbal; can attribute it to me reading loads f novels in that period; but apart from verbal nothing much to show home.
This year I seriously started to prepare for Cat; and realized what a different ball game Cat is altogether; how badly I was underestimating a paper like Cat; I ve realized that It requires sustained efforts throughout the year; with a thorough analysis of your performance....althogh I am not expecting any calls from IIM's this year but still I can say I ve studied CAT more closely this year and learned a lot from it
If I did not get any good call this year, I am ready to give one more year for the preparation and I will also be writing GMAT this year.
