Hi,
I am Rohan Kundu...I am 26 years old. I am a mechanical engineer and am employed with L&T; IES(Larsen & Toubro Integrated Engineering Services) for the last 2 years.
I have been trying to crack the CAT from last year, Last year I scored a measly 70 percentile(without any special coaching) and this year I screwed up pretty bad in the DI section. DI & Quants have been a major impediment for me even after getting coaching!!!Language is not a major problem for me as I have scored 99 percentile in that section in many a mockcats.
I always wanted to write, I want to see my name among the likes of George Orwell,Alduous Huxley, Kurt Vonnegnut and the likes. A middle class background and lack of focus forced me into engineering from a below average college and university, something that I am not very proud of.
Working for an engineering giant like L&T; is a dream for many a mechanical engineer, but two years down the line the dream suddenly changes into a monotonous reality, where I feel I am losing my identity, and becoming more and more cynical. I want to break out of this for this end an MBA from one of the premier Indian B-Schools(I have little faith in Big-Banner private B-schools except XLRI), as I want to break out of the mundane, vegetative nature of the technical/engineering jobs. This will allow me to travel and come in contact with a larger variety of people and places...and help me to enrichen my experience.will provide me enough cannon fodder to turn out another animal farm, another slaughter house five.....till then its nose to the grindstone for me!!!!

just few months back , i decided to do an MBA and ever since the war is still on 😃 the fight has been extremely painful with so many disappointments. Beleaguered yes , but the war is still on :)
so i work for Cognizant and it has been almost 2 years working here. Love the work culture here .
some one told , Pagal guy is really pagal about MBA's so landed up here for some tips and guidance.
