I so desperately wanted to post my post on Pagalguy
By way of simple introduction, I am an engineer with 6 complete years of work exp and I recently appeared for GMAT on the 13th of Sep and the 13th played a havoc on me. I got a score of 660. I have applied for all Indian Colleges offering 1 year executive MBA like ISB, XLRI, IIMB, TISS (if it falls in this bracket) and GLIMS.
What I want to know is whether a score of 660 decent enough to get me into a good college or should I bury myself into books again.
I have read that its not just the GMAT score thats counted but there are host of other factors like exp, essays, etc.
Please, please suggest fast what should I do.
Also offer any assistance in writing SOPs as I think these could save me.
Consider this an SOS and let the help pour in!!!!!
I am very optimistic about getting into MBA this year as well as about getting help from you guys. So plz dont prove me wrong!!!!!!!

I am rather blank and dazed since the enormity of attempting CAT dawned on me :shock:. So, as suggested by the moderators, I will mention a few of my background details to begin my journey with PG..
10th (2003) : 88.4%
12th (2005) : 85.2%
dropped a year (2005-2006) :-(
Grad (2006-2010): 7.67 on 10 (B.tech Bioinformatics)
As of now I am a Project/Research Assistant at IISc Bangalore
Do I stand a chance of doing well in CAT 2010? Are my academic credentials good enough to secure me a place in a b-school?

I have worser marks than u in 10th and 12 th grade but I am confiednt that I stand a chance so do u... So please stop worrying about ur past grade and concentrate on things that u can control... Prepare hard for CAT, with a good score u will definetely stand a chance...

I am new to this place too... Your acads stand u in good stead.... I am sure that the interview board will be aware of the standards at the IITs and anything over 7.0 should be good. They normally grill people on the fundamentals of their discipline. The GPA, from what I have read thus far, hardly counts beyond a certain point...
