Hi Tapasya,
I think I can guide u well.I worked with INFOSYS technologies for 2 yrs and quit my job to prepare 100% for CAT.Here is the summary of my season:-
IIFT-20.5 Marks-Way below cut offs
SNAP-105 Marks-2 marks short of SIBM-P cut offs
XAT-92%ile
CAT-91%ile-Calls-IIM I(NC-OBC)Rejected,IMT-N(Converted but wont join),Wlingkar(Result not yet out)
FMS,TISS,MICAT-No call
NMAT-96%ile(Cleared overall cut off by 12 marks,missed one sectional by 2 marks)
MFC-Call but could not convert
MHCET-99.4%ile(GD/PI still to take place)
Overall season was painful and disastrous.So my advice to you is that dont concentrate only on CAT pattern but other tests also which most of us do not do.Prepare for GK starting very early as it will be there in SNAP,IIFT,MICAT,MFC and TISS.U cant ignore it.Concentrate on ur mocks.Analyse them like nerds.Take it very seriously and make sure that u perform excellent atleast in 4-5 exams.Last but not the least,be active at Pagalguy.U will get immense help from ur peer pagals.

I am Manish Mishra....did my graduation in EE from NIT, Rourkela (2009)....currently uin my first job at IndianOil Corporation Ltd. postd at Jaipur......frustrated to the full with my job n hav come to understand life of an engineer sucks high time in core-sector especially in the first say 10-15 yrs.....I am basically a very fickle-minded n confused guy when it comes to taking decisions on my career........have joined pagal-guy to get some motivation n help in cracking my ambition of making it big in life n its very much necessary to know how to manage things if u need to manage life...hence the choice of MBA!!!...

I got admission in Mumbai Business school(MBS) in mumbai malad.
i want to know who good is this school.
is it worth spending 10 lacks and doing one 1yr executive mba program
from this school.
i also got admission in IILM delhi in lodhi road campus for two yrs which one should i prefer.
please let me know at the earliest coz i have to pay a registration fee of 1 lack af MBS by next wednesday.
i have 4.5 yrs experience and i am a mechanical engineer.

with a rich experience of 4.5 yrs, why don't you look for executive programmes in institutes like IIMs, Xl etc.. A two year programme is better suited for those people who are looking to change their domain. in pgpex, u get value for your work exp. any student/alumni from such colleges could help in college specific queries.

My name is Gautham Ponnu. I've hung around PG for sometime,but I never dared to post so far. This is my first post. I'm starting my final year B.E. in Electronics at TCE in Tamilnadu.
I've always wanted to create my own business. I hope and MBA from the IIM's would help me achieve it. I'm decent in acads, interested in computers. Also am a little bit shy and reserved.
For the next year I want hopefully crack CAT or get admitted in any good Business school abroad.

Join Byju's classes for he's indeed the best of the lot who coach students for CAT but, when it comes to Test Series TIME holds monopoly. Hopefully this combo will help you bell the CAT..
