Hello everybody!!!!!!!

I graduated in the year 2009 from an NIT. Right now I don't have a job at hand and I have admission offers from NIRMA and TAPMI.

With utmost urgency, I would request all the puys to kindly suggest me with the better option.

To give you a comparative scenario of NIRMA and TAPMI:
The fees of NIRMA is less (NIRMA has 7 Lakhs total fees whereas TAPMI has 10.5 Lakhs total). NIRMA is about 8 years old whereas TAPMI is 25 years old. NIRMA doesn't have a locational disadvantage whereas many say that TAPMI has.This year TAPMI has introduced 3 more programmes thereby increasing its intake by nearly 3 times and this may dilute its position. Most of the coaching institues rate TAPMI above NIRMA but this year cut-off of NIRMA has been higher than TAPMI. The cut-off of TAPMI might have gone down either because position of TAPMI has weakened or because TAPMI had to take more students this year.

I utmost need of help!!!!!!!

Thanks a lot for the information.
I already know about the various symbiosis institutes in Pune, but i am not looking at symbiosis.
It is very expensive and even the placements iv heard are over rated.
Plus my scores arent too good.
could you gime info bout some other colleges?

hello all

this is chandu from HYD. I have recently decided to go for an MBA abroad and hence starting my GMAT prep. I am leaving my job in a telecom firm for the prep (i am sure tht i dont stand a chance if i work and study simultaneously)

So i am pretty new to competitive exams and would like to utilize the vast info available here.

Any tips of how i should get started. I have no idea at all on GMAT and the material for the same.

I am Nikhil, i will follow the same intro format as others above.

Edu & Work Ex: Bachelors Degree in Business Management- About 5 years work ex in Banking & Financial Services Industry
Current Occupation: Working fr a Financial Services in U.A.E. (Capital Abu Dhabi) as a Dy Manager- Business Analyst
On PG: coz I am plannin to come back to India and prepare for GMAT...looking for GMAT/ Bschool related advice/suggestions/guidence.
Specially looking for wht on PG: everything to do with GMAT
Aim for next one year: Well for next 5 months only one goal GMAT and then MBA in a Business School in India or abroad.

I look forward to meeting people in Karnataka state (may be Bangalore/Mangalore) preparing for GMAT and also ppl scheduling GMAT exams in the next 4 to 5 months.

don't b scared bcz it will make u nervous which is killer of GD-PI temperament,so just relax n b coooooool n try 2 concentrate on ur GD-PI...
if u r not able 2 get relax then just take long breathe and sing ur fav. energetic songs like masti ki pathshala etc. it will b helpful 2 take moral down of ur competitor........
its all wat i think dats y i suggested u.if u like it then thanx n if u don't like it then thanx in dat condition also.......

It's a good college but placements are not all that great. If you are interested in copy editing and getting into advertisement from a grass-root level, it's a sensible option.

Try being creative in the exam and make it a point to try finishing it on time.

I would also recommend trying for MICA. MICAT is a separate exam from 2010 onwards. You'd have to appear for it in 2011.

MICA also has a PG certification program in Advertising & PR for 79k that's delivered through correspondence/ weekend classes in Delhi.

Thanks for suggesting MICA but i fear i cant wait for an year to start... hope to make it to IIMC.. nd as far as finishing d ppr on tym is concerned.. i really need to work hard... 😃

Hello Friends - my name's Pavan & I've got an admission offer from IMT Ghaziabad for Dubai campus for 2010-12 batch. Considering the financial crisis that happened not so long ago in the middle east should I go for this offer????

Howz the college - does the brand IMT have added value in the Middle East?

What can I expect from the 2 year course - how it's structured, how're the faculty, the extra curricular activities & job prospectives there?

Any information on this or related to IMT Dubai will be of great help..
