hi i'm kunal saxena, gone thru GMAT last year ie 2009 jan, didnt cored much- only 620. want to apply for 2010-11 batch, can anyone let me know which college is accepting application at this moment. i am having 9 years exp. in manufacturing industry and looking for MBA in finance as option.

Hiiiii Guys......

I am Mrinalini....I completed my BTECH 2009 batch...I am interested to do mba in symbiosis.i got a score of 45..i applied for scit siom and scisr..i failed to get in the 1st two colleges and now waiting for scisr..got really disappointed.will i get a call for my score...please help me.i even wrote mat in feb and which coolleges i should apply.....plz plz help me out of wat to do..

1st of all relax yaar........ need not 2 worry.
please be specific by giving your details, so that best feedback return to u.
if you are from general category then it is not 100% sure u got a call, some chances are there.
regarding MAT some good institutes are there like Christ,IPE,IMS-ghaziabad.

hello...i am atul..had been seing the threads on pagal guy since long..but i neva know why am i registering only now...i will complete my engineering from the electronics and communication dept.in june 2010 and have appeared in cat..i managed to score decent in the aimcats..and averaged around the 95%ile..but i think i have goofed up my cat...slotted on the 30th 2nd slot by managing to attempt only 45...while others have been insane..dunno how??...coz i was rather satisfied wid my performance:clap:...if only for 2 mins after the exam..i basically want to go for an M.B.A for the monetary gains;)...and also because i feel comfortable dealing with the practical aspect of business...i am at pg to share n seep in views of others on the second phase of the M.B.A selection process...n of-course to have a set of good frends...CAT results are the only hopes for me..although i have got jobs in TCS n WIPRO..i dont wanna join...do u pepl think 45 attempts with 80% accuracy overall wud b fine for the top-notch colleges??plz reply...

I have been a follower of Pagalguy for more than a year now but never felt the need to post anything. I am a prospective applicant for MBA 2011 with experience in IT industry and more recently non profit sector and hence would like to get more interactive now.

Warm hello to all,
I would like to would like to introduce myself as a B.Tech graduate in
Information Technology with over four years of experience working in an engineering firm , in an IT services support role.

I am now looking to do my higher education in Canada and am given to understand that Post Graduate diplomas are well valued in Canadian education market.

I am looking at starting my education in Fall 2010.

I have been able to score a 550 in my GMAT a year ago.

I would like to understand whether Post Graduate diplomas are offered by
Top ranked universities in Canada and if so what is the value of a PG diploma in Canadian job market i.e is it same as a masters?

In any case please guide me as to which Business schools in Canada
offer Msc in Business administration instead of MBA ? ( I presume Msc is more lenient in GMAt and can be succeeded by MBA)

I want to do my MBA in 2011.But I'm stuck with few questions.Please someone help me,

Education and Work Ex Background:Masters in engineering-3 Yrs of exp in IT
Current Occupation:Software Engineer
Why on PG?:I need some suggestion
Specifically looking for what on PG?:Suggestions
Aim for next one year?:Another PG in management..

I'm bit confused by asking this kinda of questions my self...

If someone ask like...

why you want to do mba?
why didn't you choose your carrier after 12th itself in management?
where you think yourself after 10 years?
How can I believe that your interested in management?

I just want to know how you are justifying your self...like I will fit into finance or HR any kind of management job.....

This is Pranav Paranjape. I have been following pagal guy for almost a year without registering though.....just reading the posts and going through the quotes....

I am a BE (Mechanical) graduate from Goa Engineering college, and working in Pune for the last 4 years.

Looking out for information on various Business schools as i am planning to join a Business school by 2011 through GMAT...especially the 1 year MBA...

I like reading, Playing outdoor games like cricket, football etc....Hope to interact with many on Pagal Guy....

I am stuck on visual reasoning part which i dont know how to prepare for.

Hey People,
I am abhishek ( my profile being my Counter Strike title).

Graduated in BE Mech in 2008.
Appeared in CAT in 07 and scored 92.
Appeared in CAT in 09 and dont think my %tile would be above 80.
Currently working in a Power Project Construction MNC as Assistant Manager in Coastal Gujarat.

Am here at PG to bridge this 15-20 %tile gap.

have allready got Career Launcher material.
am looking forwrd to some advise and motivation to reach my ulti aim of being an ex-IIM MBA

Just wanted to ask u ppl,if u all got results (i mean scores) or only the call letter for interview.
The thing is I still dont know my score but received my call letter for interview.Now a bit confused if "they are sending teh call letter to one and call as I heard from different sources".
I also read in the previous threads about ICFAI wherein ppl getting ranks..
Kindly update me on this,.

even i also got call letter my friend..i thik everyone is called for taking up the selection process..worst organization,,:)
