Comparison of B-Schools is not allowed on PG. Get feedbacks from the current/passed out batches and decide thereupon.

I have converted PGDM and 99% will be joining. The letter says hostel accommodation is limited. Can seniors please say how many ppl in a batch get hostel acco.? Also, this might be like a silly question, but in the particulars form there was place for 4 subjects for class 12 and the total i mentioned was the total of the best 4 subjects and not all 6. I just want to know if this might create any problems. Thanks a lot.

i mailed to IMI staff and i got the following reply
"Please note that this offer is valid subject to seats being vacant at the time of payment of the first installment of tuition fees."
Are calls being given to more students and it is first come first serve basis ?

Although there are more number of calls given out, the selection is more or less sure. This is because students shift to other colleges. Thus, theoretically it's first come first serve, but if you pay the fees, you can be sure of getting a seat.

Some Placement stats that i got from college
Avg so far has been 7.5 and highest was 13lac for PGDM, and 10 students are still left to be placed
Total 70 Companies have visited the campus this year
HDFC has hired 10 students , Infosys Tech and Infosys BPO are other major recruiters

While the names are correct, your figures are wrong. 10 students are not left, only 5-6 left as of now. And HDFC didn't hire 10 students, another major bank hired 11 😃 Anyway, it's best to keep such data out of public domain till the placement report is not declared.

I've always maintained that the average is around 7.5 lpa and the median is around 7.6 lpa. I don't have problems in giving out figures but can't give out names of companies till the report is declared. Hope you guys would understand.
Thanks for correcting me avinav , actually got the data from some one who visited the college today. Got info the seats are filling up quiet fast
Also about the placement stats that is wat i got from that person , those who are left out have been given a lot chances so if they are still left , it not at all colleges fault
May be i misinterpreted about the placement stats , i guess i will try call placement office and get more info

i discussed the same question with with KJ somaya seniors and the result was not positive ... :drinking:
PS :: at initial stage even medium package can do but good profile is very essential

wat i can say to u that the finance people got placed very fast this time as this time many companies did offer finance profiles......but exact details we do not have at the moment before the report is out..........

placement details are published after the placement of all the students in all the courses............it will come out in near future...........
Seniors, can you please tell with which bank does IMI has tie ups with. Guess tie up with HDFC is not there as suggested by the link. Any other bank you would recommend?
