was about to join I and accordingly deposited the regstration fee of 30,000. the next day itself, L came out with it's second list and junked my 30K
😃 now have deposited the 15K required in L.
as for my hobby,area of interest etc etc....am interested in anything on wheels that moves / anything that has a connection with cars or bikes.:)
in short I am an out and out petrol freak .count me in any club that is even remotely connected with cars and/or bikes.
unfortunately GOD hasn't yet enabled me to get my own set of wheels...but would be laying my hands on them pretty soon.:)

Anyway, on to the rems - I believe that engineers are not allowed to attend rems. But I believe that we would not plunge into classes as soon as we arrive. There should be an orientation programme. Seniors please put some light on this matter.

Just made an observation about your signature. No offence meant dude but it shows a very haughty attitude. Well, it would be naive to expect anyone to prefer L if he has an admit in the top trinity but once you have got into only L, I guess you should try not to belittle the institute by claiming that you would rather join somewhere else.
On any day, at any time the institute is bigger than any single individual. Just my opinion.

well ruchika, comp is very much a necessity there in the room.....u wudnn't like to go to CC everytime u want to check ur mails(all the work get done thru mail), or refer to class PPTs(almost all the courses), or communicate to others thru intra IIML messenger(called exodus) or for that matter, when u just wanna chill and enjoy music and movies??

if u already have a comp, u can take it to the campus......i did the same last year....and even if u have to buy the comp, our committee calls selected vendors(incuding those selling branded pcs) offering very good prices.....u can buy there with not much fuss.....
