The guys having waitlist 62,63,and 64 (GEN) ??
IIM B has put up some stats on its site. 406 Total students admitted in the class of 2016. 35 Students chose IIMB over IIMA and 77 Students chose IIMB over IIMC.
Women comprise 24% on the incoming class. 97 IITians and 86 NIIT students. 6 CAs.
Why then IIMA hasn't declared its waitlist? Or has it just called in students from the waiting list without anybody knowing it here?
So far what I know is that IIMA hasn't declared its waiting list.
I just called AO. They said even if 2-3 people withdraw their admission
within a week. They will not going to call any waitlist candidate. They
have already admitted 406 candidates against the total seats of 400.
And also they have removed the link of PGP Offers/Waitlist from IIM B website .

1) Total No of Seats in PGP 2014-16 batch course under each category is as below:
General=190, NC-OBC=108, SC=60, ST=30, DA=12 Total=400
2) Total No of final admission offers made for PGP 2014-16 batch under each category is as below:
General=225, NC-OBC=120, SC=70, ST=40, DA=15 Total=470
3) Total No. of waitlist candidate under General Merit category for PGP 2014-16 batch is 80

This question is for the final converts. I belong to NC OBC category and need to know as what all documents (for availaing the benefit of reservation) will be needed till and during admission. As the registration has already started for CAT 2014, I need to make sure that I have necessary docs before really specifying the category to avoid any concerns at a later stage.

guys..i have converted iim v (newly opened) mentored by iim bangalore in GEN cat. Need some suggestions as i have an exp of 5 years so sud i take this offer? How is the placement scenario for guys with work ex like me in IIMs ? Can anyone throw some light..?
