My ICICI PO GD/PI experience...(On 9th march 2013)two frnds told me that u shud share ur experience of icici po gd and pi round..so i am sharing my experience.My gd and pi was in
chandigarh on 9th march..
In GD group we were 12 members and topic was -
"
Competition right from childhood -good or bad?" nd i had put some strong points nd i was selected for PI.
In gd they were only observing valid points of candidates and there were not seeing for good communication skills nd one more thing ,they told us dat
u can speak in any language in which u r comfortable. after gd ,there was PI. I waited 3 hours for my turn nd i went for PI.
I entered into room nd there were 4 interviewer,one was mam.
me: may i come in ..
Interviewer1- yes, come in
me: gud evening sir ,gud evening mam nd they also replied gud evening.May i seat, sir?
Interviewer1- yes Mr. Vikram Joshi nd gud evening ...
me-thank u sir..
Interviewer(mam)-tell us about your family ??
me- i told about my whole family ..
interviewer2-what is your father annual income?
me -nd i gave answer...
interviewer1-aap icici join kyo karna chahte ho(asked in HINDI)??
me-sir,ek vajah to ahi icici ki reputation nd second ki india ki second most popular and second largest bank in assets .....unhone bolne nhi diya cut kar di baat aur unhone ek question puch liya ...
interviewer2-first bank kaun hia ?
me-sir,SBI.state bank of india ,public sector bank.and maine continue rakha nd maine kaha ki third point yeh hai ki gud facilities provide karwata hai icici bank.
interviewer2-which type of facilities??
me-sir,they will give facility to learn new things(interviewer3 and mam was observing me) nd again baat puri karne nhi di , unhone bich me ek question puch liya
interviewer2-tata etc company bhi achi facility provide karwayega but icici kyo??
me-sir,actually chance nhi mila ..unhone bolne nhi diya and again ek question puch liya
interviewer2-iska matlab agar unme chance milega to icici chhod doge??
me-noooo sir,i am finale year btech student nd i did not get any good chance nd icici PO ka hi sabse pahle acha chance mil rahha hai to me kyo chhodunge is job ko.ad one more thing sir ,agar yeh job milti hai to mughe satisfication hogi is job ka ,so koi chnce nhi hia chodne ka.

interviewer2-no ,i am talking about whole bank?
me-sir,RBI(i was confused nd i thought ki whole banks in india ki bat kar rahe ahi lyk nationalized,private etc ) (ek aur answer de sakta tha ki CEO manage karta hai but maine socha ab correction karna sahi nhi rahega ).
interviewer2-k do you know about rep o-ratio?
me-yes sir.repo ration is interest rate on which RBI kisi other bank ko money deti hia nd at dis time repo ration is 7.5%.
interviewer(mam)-Vikram,aap kahi bhi job karne ke liye ready ho ??
me-yes mam...
mam-k aap ja sakte hai ..
me-k thank u sir nd mam...nd me bahar aa gaya...
nd now waiting for finale result nd finger crossed..
